In this award winning wordless picture book, a young boy comes to the
beach eager to collect and examine flotsam-anything floating that has been washed
ashore. But nothing among his usual finds compares with the discovery of a barnacleencrusted underwater camera! When he gets the film developed, he goes through
each picture, revealing something marvelous and fascinating about the underwater
world. The boy even takes a photo of himself right before a wave claims the camera.
Again, the camera belongs to the sea, going on a long journey only to wash up on
another beach to be discovered again.
