One thing my great granny said, that I use daily whether cooking or mingling in life, remember ...... as hard as we try to mix or mingle, we must first mix or mingle with likeness first, then move to the next hardest to mix and so of, it’s a gradual thing that will mix and mingle the flavors and fruit to blend them together more fluidly.
Mixology applies in everything. Fluids together first then solids together then bring them all together. Basic mixology rules that have applied since the beginning of mixing and mingling
Mixing in the proper order ensures that any spices added (to anything) are distributed evenly. Yes I have mastered it, took me a few years but order is everything. Nothing wrong with recipes just how they are assembled makes a huge difference and most aren’t doing them in the correct order, but mostly they are overdoing the prep out of order.
