As a response to the original video being deleted, I decided to upload it instead so new fans will be able to experience this fantastic live version of SIGN.
This song has a very important position in the anime. It was featured at the time Naruto overcome an event that would define who he is, or you can say turned him from a boy to a man. Before the death of Jiraiya, he never had the feeling of losing a closed one. Jiraiya was more than just a teacher, he was basically a father figure to Naruto. So losing him caused a profound change in Naruto. Overcome from that made he become more matured, determined. Finally, he can understand the reason for Sasuke's action. And that's is basically the sprit of this song.
also important for Sasuke, as his lifelong goal of killing his brother where we heard it since the early episodes of Naruto finally fulfilled, only to know there is some bitter truth behind it
As I was reading about Jiraiya and the lose of him, tears rolling down my cheeks because not only Naruto lost him but Naruto fans also lost a good character. It’s Ben so many years but still hits home.
I'm watching for the first time through, and TBH I wish I was on board when Naruto first came out.. Jiraiya's back story, his death to Pain was horrible, yet to know that he was Natruto's Godfather was wonderful.. The "Pervy Sage" will live on forever.
This song is barely about Jiraiya. If you read the lyrics you'll understand what i mean; they're purely Itachi's feelings, his quiet strugglings and his words to make Sasuke understand the true dimension of his actions. I see Naruto may understand what loss really means by losing his sensei, but this songs is nothing about him nor Jiraiya.

Wow this is hands down one of the best live performances I've seen. The raw emotions coming from the singers as well as the guitarist, and then there's the crowd that is so ALIVE and you can feel their energy from the fkn video even. You could tell the bassist got emotional too. Drummer is vibing. I cried.
This is one of the best live performances I have ever seen. The joy and emotion going from Flow band is beyond inspiring. You can clearly see the dedication and passion. I wish I could be there to witness this masterpiece.
man this is insane, i dont know if it was the song or the fact that they were sweating buckets but you could see them start tearing up from the start of the song, by the end their voices started cracking a bit and they were actually legit just crying, as was i
It brings SO much joy to see how FLOW enjoys their work for anime continously after so much time. This song will forever be in my heart (especially this version) because it came out when I discovered anime/manga for myself and also helped me through the times when I lost one of my younger brothers and my father. I hope they will keep going as long as the can! :D
It has been a few years back it feels like yesterday. The support is overwhelming, and you can feel the emotions overflowing both from remembering this season of Naruto and how they performed the song live. Well talented artists. I could play this song over and over again all day long. Nostalgic.
É nítido ver a emoção dos caras ao cantar para tanta gente! Emociona não só por nos fazer voltar no tempo, que aliás, bons tempos... mas a energia que os caras transmitem é surreal!
Shit... I was 12 years old when I've start reading it... Now, I'm 29 years old and I'm still rewatching the anime... Literally, spent all the coin I've earned, working as a youngster, with HQ's and Manga... and drinking Coke while waiting for a new episode of Bleach, One Piece and Naruto Shippuuden.
not to take away from anyone else and no disrespect to anyone else either, but this hits totally different for people who actually grew up with this, i.e. heard this op when it actually came out. As a 24-year-old, who grew up watching anime, the level of nostalgia this brings is unreal. It takes me back to those good old school days when I would come back from school and watch some anime before taking a nap. It's an anthem of sorts for us relatively older people. Regardless of when you started watching anime however, this song will bring back memories if you have watched naruto. So we all unite
Right next this video i have a picture of Messi winning his 7th FIFA The best title. Its kind crazy and nostalgic thinking that in 2009, when we first heard Sign, he was just already a great player but far from what its today. Nothing about soccer itself, just expressing the surprise i had now. We`re all getting old, fellas hahahahahahahaha
Even I don't really understand the lyrics, but I can say that this is a great song by them! 👌.. Also I already watch the original version, glad that they sounds the same👍🎉
Naruto just hits different from any other anime sure there's an awesome shonen anime (especially the new and fresh start journey ones like mha and jujutsu) but naruto is just an inspiration one.... There's a value in there that you can learn and apply in real life like forgiving your enemies despite how much trouble and sufferings he/pushed you through because one might have suffered the most than your's is and that could be your worst enemy, never giving up is number 1 definition of naruto, and never change yourself no matter the situation that will change the way you perceive the world.... And there's so much more...
WOW! Thank you so much for uploading this 🤣 I literally just got done watching the original owner’s video of this and saw his pinned comment in the description saying how he will be deleting the video soon which was 13 days ago. I go off RU-vid and come back and this video is the first thing I see.
