Riding at Mt Shasta Bike the weekend after the California Enduro series race. You will see the trails are sandy and loose with berms being almost non existent. There is still a lot of fun to be had, with the more technical trails off the Douglas lift. Marmont gives access to multiple green and blue trails off the lift.

I worked on those trail this summer. This ski park is fairly new to the mountain bike scene. By the end of this 2020 season we managed to afford water irrigation for ALL of the flow trail. See you next year!

Big improvements from 2019! We all know the dirt is what comes with big mountain riding and is tough to work with but appreciate the efforts!

Nice ride ! Used to ride those mountains when I lived there when I was 66 now 78 and still ride my old ridged hard tail mountain bike. Might get a new one some day. Those shocks on the front look like they would be fun.

Yeah! Riding the brown pow! Those pro lines weren't there when we rode. I'll have to check it out after a race!

0:38 Very appropriate reaction for that part of the trail, I relate all the dirt up there to what it would be like to ride a bike on the moon

@@gnarkillMTB makes sense, it's essentially just volcanic ash. Water goes right through it

@@BohemianCloud35 the trail crew and I call it “hydrophobic” because the dirt has an extremely hard time absorbing water😂. Great park for practicing weak points 👍🏻👍🏻

I have no idea why this was recommended but this is awesome. I grew up here skiing these same trails, I always wondered about those lunatics that biked it in the summer, nice to see someone actually doing it!
