We sew the top of a patchwork table runner or topper.
The size of the patchwork block 9-1/2 * 9-1/2 inchers.
Cut: The middle is 1 square 3-1/2 * 3-1/2 inches
4 squares 1-1/2 * 1-1/2 inches
4 square of main fabric 3-1/2 * 3-1/2 inches
8 squares of background fabric 1-1/2 * 1-1/2 inches
4 squares of green fabric 3-1/2 * 3-1/2 inches
8 squares of background fabric 1-1/2 * 1-1/2 inches

If you are going to do a lot of piece work, like this, you really need a sewing machine with an automatic thread cutter. And the iron that you’re using isn’t very good because all of your fabric squares were curling up. Suggest getting a block of wood to use as a clapper, or spritz your fabric with some water or use a steam iron If you are going to teach things for beginners you must tell them what needle you are using and also which stitch length you are using

@@themelodyofsewing6369 if you don’t want any comments or criticism, then don’t specifically state in your own comment that you appreciate the commentaries because they are so helpful and inspiring yet you think it’s perfectly acceptable to be rude to me when I’m trying to point out some very helpful facts. Talk about hypocritical You’re keeping a closed mine instead of an open mind and realizing that the observations that I have made are 100% accurate. You can’t move forward in life if you don’t want to except other peoples critiques. How do you think other channels became so successful? Because they didn’t listen to the comments I don’t think so. You definitely want a better iron because your fabric pieces are not lying flat why don’t you look back at your own video and see what I’m talking about And it would be so wrong to provide the needle size that you’re using and stitch length? Unbelievable that you think that’s not going to be helpful to your viewers And you’re right plenty of other channels out there that give a lot more detail and don’t send rude comments back to people who are watching and we’re going to possibly subscribe I won’t be sharing your video or watching anymore because you don’t have any diplomacy skills.
