I have been watching your videos for a couple months now and I truly feel like you are my “flower friend”. I didn’t think there was anyone out there that felt like I do about flowers. A few years back I won Erin Bensakein’s book “Cut Flower Garden” by writing a little essay about gardening. Well last week was my granddaughters birthday and she wanted to go to Barnes and Nobles so I got Erin’s books “A Year in Flowers” as well as “Discovering Dahlias”. I am absolutely flower crazy. You are such a sweetie, I think it's good when you show your emotional side because we can all tell that it is genuine - I imagine your family and close friends feel extremely loved by you and you are a daily blessing to them. I cannot say how many videos I watch of yours - partly I am catching up, but sometimes in the mornings before I start working, I have my coffee and look for new videos because your videos make me smile, laugh and sometimes cry with you. Pleasssseeee keep doing these videos!!!! They make more than just One person’s day! I have Lyme’s disease and it is debilitating. I live on 1/16th of an acre in the suburbs of a big city and I garden in pots and a converted sandbox, cause ya know…..HOA rules. And I watch you garden and grow and live vicariously through you. You are living my dream. Good question! I usually just post in on my business Facebook page. This week I "boosted" a post on Facebook to have it show up as an ad for people in a 20 mile radius. It cost me $20 and it reached about 3,000 people locally.

Hi flower friend! I love your genuine content and how you understand the healing powers of flowers and the pure joy they provide us with. They are just perfect, aren't they? Your channel inspires me to get out of my comfort zone and maybe make some videos myself. I'm not a flower farmer but I've loved flowers and nature since I could walk and reach with my little hands. Later, I played with them ( i even sold ground elder as tomatoes) in my pretend flower shops in my grandmas's huge gardens. I loved just wondering around and making my little bouquets. I still love plants and try to share my passion with the children through my forest school classes where they learn about the real super heores that nature provides us with. If they know about the true gems are out there, they won't need any extra encouragement to look after the world. Anyways, ( before I bore you and everyone else to death with my cliches no matter how true lol) thank you soooooo much for extra work. I'm truly grateful and appreciative. I think this flower gardening thing is becoming a bit of an addiction bc yesterday we decided to make more garden beds and I was so excited that I was up until 3am yesterday laser focussed on what seeds to order to plant for next year. I have such big dreams but such a small garden! After watching your videos, I think I have 8 different types of lisianthus seeds in my "cart" along with so many other seeds! I hope you can chronicle your lisianthus planting and growing journey so that I can follow along with you. I had such bad success with mine this year. I'm hoping the sensible part of my brain will kick in and help me rationalize the size of my seed "cart" haha. Hope you have a wonderful day and looking forward to your next video!

@@FlowerHillFarm If your lisianthus growing experience is anything like mine it will be weeks upon weeks under the grow lights where the seedling just sits there doing nothing while algae grows all around it. haha I would also be interested in how you grow flowering crane kale and how you incorporate it in your bouquets. I bet you would do some gorgeous bouquets with it. Is there a reason why you don't grow any Asters? I was going through the seed catalogues and my imagination is taking off with so many possibilities for next year. haha My gardens always look so amazing in my imagination! Thanks again.

I have aster seeds and ran out of time in the days. I did plant some china aster seeds and they never sprouted. Next year. That sounds EXACTLY like my lisianthus growing experience 😂

I love your video’s, they are very inspirational and also relatable! Your family is adorable, just be careful because if you show children a lot in videos you tube could categorize you like a kids channel and block your comment section, this happened to the channel: you can’t eat the grass. You should check them out, I think you would like them!

Thank you! I've watched Serina before! I'm not sure why that happened to their channel- I know a lot of RU-vidrs who regularly feature children and don't have an issue with comments. I felt awful when I saw that happen to them! I love their veggies.

Thank you for sharing with us. My 4 year old curses by saying "what the beeeep" lol . Do you find you have a problem with the seed pushing it's self off the soil blocks sometimes? What sort of temp are the blocks when under the lights?

Aw, so cute. I have had that problem with a couple of seeds...lemme think about what they were. I think zinnia and a couple others. I had to push them back down! My basement is a consistent 65-70 degrees so not very hot. The lights add a little heat but not much.

I have a potty mouth too 🤭. My favorite is from Rocky Horror Picture Show “D***** Janet!” My daughter, Ivy, is twelve (today!) and when she was younger she told me “Mom, I don’t know who Janet is but she sure must have been awful for you to swear about her all the time” 😂😂😂 my favorite cleaned up sweating is “Mother of goodness!” No idea where it came from.
