hey judy, just to let you know, I'm pretty sure it's a matte highlight powder instead of a setting powder as it's pretty on trend at the moment, a lot of Chinese beauty content creators are promoting using matte highlight to create the illusion of a fuller plumper face, hence a lot of brands are coming out with face palettes with a matte highlight, it's similar to how people use banana powder to brighten, so in theory it's used in relatively large areas anyway so there's nothing wrong using it to set the center of the face
@@arimari234, they were coming out like 5 or so years ago in also cream format. They never took off like the shimmery highlights so we forgot about them until now. Look at all the high end contour palettes several years back; they all had matte highlighters, like with KVD, Laura Mercier, etc.).
@ariana chung it's been around since decades. Matte highlighters are just brightening powders. They've been using them since forever in the movies and shoots and any kind of glimmer or shine is a strict no-no.
It's always amused me when noticing FK makeup brand has been grow so much till now. Fun fact, this brand was made by two BL cosplayers & real life couple named Hana & Baozi. Both are gorgeous mens & I've been following them since day one in the anime/cosplay community.

Anybody with allot of melanin, skip this company completely. This company is completely for our lighter sisters from another mister. With that said, their collections are beautifully packaged and make perfect gifts. Gave a coworker the food bear palettes and she love love LOVED them! :)
Yeah I've seen some darker skinned women wear their stuff, but very few products work for them(in their own words). Only the recent collections have enough pigment to work on some darker complexions, and the darker the skin, the fewer products that are usable. So unless you see a review by someone of a similar shade where the product worked and you liked it, don't risk it! The money is better spent in companies that are focused in formulas for dark skin/are known to have good products for people with a lot of melanin.

Honestly, the strawberry collection is more my colors, like especially for the lipstick, but collections look really pretty on you! (I have super fair skin and I also feel like more red and pink lipstick goes better with my face). I could wear any eyeshadow colors, though! For blush, I use brighter and lighter colors too. ^u^
The perfumes aren’t available in other countries probably due to its alcohol content so they cannot be shipped by air or have limitations based on who ships it I know USPS doesn’t allow any shipment of perfume through air
Hi Judy just FYI, I live in China and on Taobao the perfume is listed as 189 RMB, approximately 28 USD. But of course international pricing is different due to manufacturing and shipping costs. Love your videos!🥰
Is TaoBao legit? It might be a bit of a stupid question but I REALLY want to get their new swan ballet all-in set and found it for around 300 dollars on TaoBao instead of 600 which seems a little too good to be true but I've only heard good things so far. I hope this isn't weird coming from a stranger but do you think I should go for it evem though I live in Europe?
@@kookie9440 Tabao is legit and you can go extra safe for shopping in their official store "花知晓旗舰店". I'm not sure if they ship to Europe though. If you have a friend living in China you can have the products shipped to a Chinese address and ask the friend to ship it to you. But this way you risk Customs and import taxes. I guess that's why international pricing is a lot higher.
Hi Judy!! I finally got around to purchasing my first few Flower Knows products thanks to your videos and my Chocolate Wonder Shop purchases are on the way! Great thorough review and now I'm considering going back to get the face palette.
I feel like I wouldn't like chocolate smelling makeup. But at the same time, I do like ones that smell like coconut, so maybe I would? Only one way to find out!
Ooh I know what you mean! I'm put off if the scent is meant to be something sweet like 'candyfloss' however I *LOVE* coconut scented products too 🤗 I have 2 _extreeemely old_ scented products that still smell strong and luscious: Tarte waterproof clay bronzer (coconut) and Too Faced chocolate gold palette (chocolate). Neither of them have ever had hard pan or gone weird in any way. I'm shocked that the smell is still there in any way, let alone still strong! I've also experienced other products at varying price points where the scent doesn't last, or the product goes rancid quickly etc... quality really matters where fragranced products are concerned i reckon! ♡
whoa such a clear review.. ive been wanting this for a while but i cant decide whether i should buy this or not.. im not familiar with chinese brand and it looks kinda different compare to korean brands.. and most of people just creating the unboxing video without review (how they sit on the skin).. and it's quite expensive as well if we compare to korean brands .. it almost hit the sephora price range.. but im surprised, this looks really good and promising .. thankyou for making this video, it really helps me a lot..

Hi Judy! I'm currently using a waterproof fiber mascara and I love it! It's super black and really holds the curl. I love it bc I do play with dark eyeshadow and you can still see a difference with my lashes so I'd recommend trying a different fiber mascara. The one I have is from Peripera
I've been looking forward to this review for a long time! I bought some of everything except the blushes. I'm hoping I can get the brown mascara to work on me because I have blonde eyelashes! Happy new year judy 💗💗💗

Flower Knows caught my eye because they have beautiful packaging and this chocolate collection has been tempting me. I’m considering an eyeshadow and highlight/contour palette. I missed out on Too Faced’s chocolate collection, the Chocolate Bon Bons palette was already discontinued and sold out by the time I made up my mind that I wanted to buy one. 😢 So it’s good to hear the eyesahdows are chocolate scented just like Too Faced was. The perfume not being chocolate scented was a missed opportunity as I don’t really see chocolate scented perfume/body sprays out there.
Judy,do you think these shadows are not very long lasting comparing to other palettes? Don´t get me wrong , I really enjoy the whole collection, love the color story and the formula, some of the shimmery and glitter shades are my absolute faves. You look gorge as always xoxo

I’m leaving you allll the comments today haha but I’m so excited to check out this new brand! You talking about the shimmers made me think of the shimmers in your palette with Odens Eye! Of course they can be super opaque and metallic but I just tried applying them with a fluffy eyeshadow brush from Clionadh and WOW they totally have that insane dispersed wet look sparkle effect like that…exactly like the diamond bomb highlighter and moon dust shadows!!! I did that with the shade Luna today and it’s so subtle at first glance but in the light it’s MAGIC…can’t stop looking in the mirror at it haha!
