I don’t like flower myself but the thoughts behind someone gifting you a bunch of flowers or even a one is so heartwarming like the person thought or spent time to think to give you this? I hate it... it's a waste of money... they wilt and then throw away. I didn't even have a flower bouquet , decord on my wedding. :D they cost too much for such a short time service they give. XD

Some replies here just don’t understand. People being happy when receiving flowers is not bcoz they like the actual flowers. Some of them think it’s useless and a waste of money too. But they’re happy just to know that they’re cared by someone. Plus the messages through the meaning of the flowers. It’s a simple gift but meaningful that’s why it can never go wrong.

One reason that I love my husband is that he will cook special meals as a gift and make it all cute and personalized as well as writing and singing me a song he wrote for me. He also knows that candy and sweets are the way to my heart. Im not a big fan of materialistic gifts so these small gestures mean the world to me (:

I totally agree with the flowers gift. Even though I'm not super into flowers the act of getting flowers by a loved one melts my heart and makes me super happy. It's a gift I often give a lot to my loved ones but rarely get myself so I totally understood what heejae was saying about it.
