We use to have a hummer that looked in our patio door window at us, I do believe he was wanting to know where the feeder was, letting us know he was back in town and ready to be fed.🌷💚🙃

Good morning. I just have to say, your nursery is absolutely gorgeous. As a somewhat new to gardening lover. I appreciate how much love and care y'all take care of your plants and flowers. Not too many nurseries in my area take care of the pots for us garden shoppers. Best wishes and again it is appreciated.

I put a Vermillionaire in a hanging basket outside my kitchen window last year. It worked even better than a hummingbird feeder! There were hummingbirds visiting that plant all day long! Unfortunately the Japanese beetles also like Vermillionaire and it got chewed on, but it survived and bounced back. I plan on doing the same thing this year. Great plant!

... I grew cuphea last year for the very first time, and I am sold! It was a magnet - not only for hummingbirds, but the bees swarmed all over it... continually. It will be a must-have each and every year! (... and you're right... they grow into small shrubs!) 💕👩‍🌾💚 =^..^=

My humming bird has build her nest right above our front door. I can watch her while in my kitchen. It has taken her a month to build her nest. With her feathers and bird waste. She o ly leaves the nest for maybe just 2 1/2 min. To eat then comes back to sit on the eggs. Can't wait to see the babies.

Beautiful! I just went out Tuesday and bought Blue Suede Shoes salvia on impulse at my local garden center and I am in love with it! I have hummingbirds around and know they will love it too. I don't put up feeders, just plant lots of flowers they love, mainly because I am not fastidious about keeping the feeders cleaned out and don't want to make them sick. Love all those plants (most of which are thriving down here in 9b central Florida.) Always watch and "like" your videos and some day I am taking a road trip to NC. 😉

Hummers will check out many different flowers, but salvia is the clear winner. Salvia guaranitica (Rockin' deep purple/fuchsia, et al) is one of the best. Half of my Iowa hummer garden is salvia guaranitica and those plants get swarmed in September/October. I also grow cuphea 'vermillionaire', which is also good. All the flowers in your greenhouse look great. I can't wait til the local garden centers up here in the north get all their plants and open up. It's a long off-season up here.

For a BIG container, a Vermillionaire & a dreamsicle Calibrachoa with Diamond Frost mixed in. It's stunning! Plants that adore 90/70° are NOT going to be happy with 60/40°. It's going to be a long, cool spring.

Hey Jenny. Love your nursery. Unfortunately we dont have a nursery that carries the varieties that you have. All the nurseries in and near Redmond Oregon carry a very limited amount of proven winners plants. Its unfortunate. Last year we drove to Lauras moms garden center in Ontario but not feesable to do that as its 4.5 hours away. I wished a local nursery would carry the varities that you do. I asked them and they said PW makes it really hard. Not sure of the specifics?? Anyway love all the plants!!

(Yep, I bought them with no tag. Had to, they’re gorgeous and whether they’re 12” wide or 3’ wide, I’m gonna find a spot for them lol) I need to know what they are so I know how big they’re going to get so I plant them in the right spot. I’ve looked at the website, but it’s harder to judge by that, the size and color doesn’t show in pics the way it does in person. Thank you for another great, informative video. Stay blessed 🙂
