Hi, thank you. I am happy you are enjoying them. Some of them are shah abbasi. In the past lotus flower was the symbol of the "One person" who was chosen by god because of being so good in thinking and doing works. Then one of the kings wanted to make himself this one person and puthis name on the flower. So hiatory of the flower belongs to long time befor the "Shah abba" but the naming is like that.

Yes, it does seem very much like a lotus, which has great significance in Hinduism and Buddhism as well. What was the Farsi name of the flower before it became known as Shah Abbasi? It would have to mean some who has good thoughts and does good deeds.

@@felixalmeida481 sure, It is nilufar"نیلوفر" which comes from "nilpar". True, in Hindi the myth about it is "lakashmir and padameh".
