This. Is. INSANE! Vessel’s tone/singing accent is super hard to imitate at times, but a couple times you got there and it was glorious! The arranging was just … *chef’s kiss*

@@asscher10 Vessel has a really interesting ‘jaw forward’ enunciation sometimes, and also he says some words a certain way because the band is from London, and so he leans into the accent a bit. So I really enjoyed the way that Anthony picked that up and imitated it.

@@lilgnomey Vessel's not from London though, he's got a bit of a posh-boy/midlands accent which is more evident in their earlier work. That's probably what adds to their sound, he kind of sounds like a fantasy character with that stereotypical high class English accent you hear in things like LotR or Game of Thrones etc

@@davex1343 they as a group are from London so I just kinda assumed they were all Londoners. I guess I should have said ‘England’ more generally. I don’t hear the high-class accent in his speech; but I also think a lot of his pronunciation is purposefully accentuated. All I meant by my original comment is that I think it’s great Anthony imitated the way Vessel enunciates his words (either stylised or accented) in some parts.

@kbottrill1 I enjoy the metaphors and lyricism mixed with the almost haunting vocals and instrumentals. Gives a kind of ethereal sound that also is fairly artistic when it comes to lyrics and meaning. I love plenty of trash music, but Sleep Token makes me feel like I'm experiencing, well, an experience. It's not surface level. And I appreciate that.

@@Pepper_Jvck I did a little bit of research after that comment, I didn't get much, but apparently those two named are on the bottom of some Spotify lyrics that linked the singer to an old band that put both words of that band in two songs next to eachother. In all honesty, regardless of which way you figure out thier identity, the fact they put little clues in there is so much fun lol Plus it's not like they're a super group from other popular bands (which also would have been a fun reveal lol)
