Re. the extra swag: We do generally hook peops who get 5 clubs or more with the extra swag that comes with the 3club set. The bags are a good way to carry the clubs and the accessory bag is great for the charger and cables. The 6-bay makes charging so much easier when we can do it all at the same time. Hope all the extras make your experience even more seamless. Sorry about silicone cap struggles. but making sure they stay on with kick-ups and multiple drops is more important than them coming off easily. Not sure if there is some tool that would help, but I can check w/ Sean. Re. Durability: They are quite durable and many jugglers do use them for their everyday clubs ... so don't hesitate to play! That said they are sensitive electronics and over time with many drops and jostles, components will invariably loosen, but many people use theirs for years without issue. At some point the battery will expire, and we have a battery replacement fee of $42. Our lifetime warranty doesn't mean free replacements for anything forever, as that wouldn't be sustainable. It does mean we will take care of you for as long as we're around, and that you can always send in your flowtoys in any state at any time and will get half credit for it towards new rigs (any flowtoys really ... so when we release rings, you can technically send in your clubs for credit towards rings). I've owned three Vision clubs from Flowtoys since the original beta! Got a forth recently and have a ton of experience with them. My wife and I use them for performing and have put them through the ringer. One cool thing to mention is they make for excellent room/mood lighting if you just want to change up the environment. I've used them as lighting during house parties and DJ sets and they definently work well for that in addition to just being extremely well made, very sturdy props. As mentioned previously, the old caps pop off real easy. I will likely order new caps to avoid them falling off with kick ups. One of the cores went out on mine and I was hesitant to send it off due to my own laziness. They had a booth set up at a flow/music festival called Equilibrium this year that I was attending and took them my faulty club. The staff was EXTREMELY friendly and replaced the core for me within approximately 2 minutes! Super cool to watch. Since then, I've had zero issues and use them quite often. Ordering a bridge on payday and can't wait to check it out. Navigating all of the settings can be a bit challenging without the bridge. I look forward to that being remedied. They do indeed link with ANY other Flowtoys vision prop as well as any Flowtoys capsule 2.0 and above. Really fun to jam with other artists. One overlooked cool feature is sleep mode. When the props are put down they will turn off without being told to do so and turn back on immediately when picked up. This is handy for performing and battery life. Good review Zak! Nice review! My few thoughts. For the vision clubs kick ups where you kick down on the end don't work because it just pops off the 3D printed cap. I know a person who had to pay a few hundred dollars to have their clubs worked on after regular use for a year and that happened multiple times to them where one of their clubs just pooped out. But most people myself included have had their clubs for years with little or no issues. For the bridge the difference between the two is one comes with a battery and the 3D housing is different. Otherwise it's the same electronics in both models of the bridge. The app is great especially for a beta but it's definitely beta. If it does leave beta I'm excited for it. It's clearly made by someone who knows what they're doing and what tools are needed to make a good show. What I want most to be added is a desktop app for creating a show, my fat thumbs struggle to line up stuff even on my big phone. But that's only because the app is so good I just want more. I'd pay 100 bucks for a working desktop version of the app honestly. Overall I'm extremely happy with vision props and the bridge/ app.
Great addition about a Desktop Application! I think working from a computer to create these shows would really boost it in terms of usability. In terms of the 3d printed caps I can definitely say the newer silicon ones grip the club for dear life and don't ever come off. That could be taken as a plus or a negative depending on how you look at it!
Been juggling and doing gigs with my vision clubs for over a year now and they’ve held up great! I’m pretty rough on them and I still haven’t had any serious issues with the integrity of the clubs or the performance of the LEDs. Just ordered a Bridge today- super excited to play with it
Good to know, I e owned Kosmos and k8 the k8 jcores can't seem to hold up to my super rigorous street use. Kosmos cores are much better but the body's don't seem to hold up as well. I was worried about spending so much on a prop that might break but this comment helps my purchase confidence. Smilesotheylikeyou
@@ZakMcallister glad to hear that! Our kid just got the twirling baton version. I didn’t know an app existed and once I saw the app I ordered the bridge. We want to set it up for her Christmas routines! Watching your other videos now. She wants to learn to juggle batons at some point.
Hey Zak! How are these 2 years later? Did they survive? I'm worried about having to send them back and forth for fixing... Especially when juggling mostly outdoors (muddy/dusty environments) But also I want them sooo hard
@@goldstarlazerbeam8562 Hey! I’ve done a few outdoor gigs in the rain over the last 2 years and I did not have any issues come from that. I did eventually have one club that stopped being able to sync with the others (still works and does all the functions independently. I just have to send it back but that’s a pretty minor fault in my opinion. Overall I’m still definitely team Vision Clubs
