I'm 68 but this 70s compilation has made me feel like a 20 year old again! I can't help but bop around to the beat! So many of these songs take me back to particular places and the people I was with at that time. Better than any blood pressure pills or statins!
I'm a blues person, carry my harp with me and when I feel blues what comes out it's not just the sound ,but real feelings of the heart and soul put together that now the they see me ,they call me harmonica Joe..just love the blues .✌️😎
I truly appreciate, and love the blues. An Extremely Amazingly Funky Grove. Just to express the pain of their everyday lifes! I myself have been down that long, lonely, extremely painful, hard road! 😵💫😳🤨🤬🥺 Floyd Lee! Thank you for showing up on my channel. I'm truly grateful, and appreciative of you and your songs! 🙏
As a blues lover I congratulate You Tube for bringing to us not only "recognised musicians"but also extraordinary blues man like Floyd Lee, Fred Mcdowell, Hosea Leavy, Lazy Lester and many more. Bravo!!!
Love you Ted/Floyd. I had the privilege of seeing this genuine blues man play on several occasions in NYC. He never failed to move me. Thanks for sharing your gift.
Love a fantastic blues, just the music, the voice and lyrics.. You find most of the songs you hear are true storys or very close to life experiences. 😊❤👍🇬🇧🇬🇧🇬🇧Beautiful slow jive floyd ❤
I like many different styles of music but if I had to pick one it would be the blues. I've seen BB King Buddy Guy Robert Cray Stevie Ray Vaughan Kim Wilson and the fabulous Thunderbirds until I got the blues. I love that harping ❤
Being Swedish, I listen a lot to dem ole kozmic blues (and of the old ones I've seen B.B. King, Albert Collins, Champion Jack Dupree amd Buddy Guy),. but I never expected to discover Floyd Lee (& His Mean Blues Band) while visiting Cusco and Machu Picchu here in Peru...🤔
blues and rock and roll are the only ways to survive . Thank you , je ne connaissais pas . astérix from Pont melvez , Britain . land of bigs rocks and of the biniou .
This is a great artist but I am reminded of something my father taught me. Without going into detail, I think certain people should never qualify an art form you know nothing about too such a level you feel comfy saying "this is real blues". I mean who does that? The entitlement in that message is offensive to me let alone how it must sound to any who read it. Art is to be appreciated and never ever compared. Now my grandfather taught me that part but it all is to be noted. There is a governor in Florida who thinks oppression is never to be discussed. The fear it might affect the entitled allowing those entitled to own what is not theirs in order to compare it. From my 4x great grandmother who perhaps stood on an auction block being inspected by your distant cousins for viability. I feel she would turn to her left and whisper "Ownership? What does that even mean?
Well, I am so sorry I mean I am French, I do speak English, but I couldn't translate what you wrote about this beautiful music... And if you want, consider I am classless... And concerning my mother, she's sick.
