I’ve seen so many uninformed comments stating his jets cost 50-60 million. Absolutely not true he has a 1994 GIV which depending on hours could be purchased for way under 10 million. And his “new”, plane depending on year and hours same thing. Both planes not that expensive to purchase but, maintaining is a totally different animal.

I can't speak for others, but I absolutely have no hate for Floyd. But I do think that there are those of us who remember very well the significant number of Black Celebrities who had this kind of lifestyle, and then for one reason or another, they end up broke! And I'm not talking about recent Black Celebrities, but you can go back over the last 125 years and see where this has frequently happened. In fact, the rarity was finding Black Celebrities who maintained their Money and died Wealthy. So my prayer is that Floyd be one of those who will be Wealthy to the End....and given his Current Wealth, it should be achievable for him, especially if he Controls his Spending. Because all of these Extravagant things bring with them Added Costs and Expenses well beyond the Purchase Price!!
This was thoughtful. And I feel like a lot of ppl feel like this about Mayweather, but don't know how to articulate it in a non malicious way like you did. In my opinion, the difference between him and other celebrities that went broke, is that they never made a billion off of their talent like Floyd. And he's sneaky lol. He owns so many businesses and franchises but rarely talks about them. Usually that info comes out from ppl in his circle. I think he'll be fine 💯

But in a way, I wish that he would talk more about his Investments and Holdings, because I think that could be more Inspirational, and could serve to teach those coming up that it's not always about Spending Money, but also about having Your Money Make Money. But I will also caution, that there was a time, like during my Grandfathers youth in the 1900's, when a Black person with a net worth of One Million dollars was considered like what a Billionaire would be today. People felt that if you were a Black person with that kind of money, you'd be rich forever! But what we see now is that One Million dollars is considered Chicken Scratch by wealthy people today. I heard Shannon Sharpe say recently that the money he made from his 3 hour RU-vid interview with Cat Williams earned him more money than he ever made in any season playing in the NFL. It was estimated that the RU-vid interview earned him about 5 Mil. And the thing is, it's not like Sharpe played back in the early years of the NFL. It just goes to show that what was considered Loads of Money at one point in time, can easily be not worth as much as it was once considered.
@georgeandy6923 I agree and he has opened up a little bit more about his investments now. Because he has been getting booked for speaking engagements at finance related conferences. He'll throw numbers out or mention an industry he's involved in but not too many specifics other than that. That's why I appreciate 50 Cent & Rick Ross because they're more transparent and will give you details to educate and inspire. I saw Shannon say that too! I think now that the internet and social media are mature and not ostracized like 10-20 years ago, more entertainers will have the opportunities to make the same income or more after retirement. And if they're not going the independent route, Corporate America is investing heavily into their endeavors for marketing reasons. What they do with that money should/could last for generations. I like the direction that things are going now.
The planes don’t look brand new, foolish move. You can join that jet and fly around the world in new equipment. The maintenance on those planes if he owns them, I doubt it, a smart corporation lease the engines
