Man, this was the ultimate promo. Mcgregors trashtalk was great but Floyds was perfect...he shut conor up for a while when he started talking about 9 figure fighter and who the A side waz...3 perfect zingers in a row...made Conor go silent cos he knew it was true...usually its Conor flexing to ufc fighters the money he makes, saying he bless them with red panty night etc etc and making them feel small but here Floyd made Conor feel what those guys in ufc felt cos Floyd was the big dog in this fight...role reversal Conor not used to.....then Floyd kept hitting him with more zingers...Floyd won this one by a mile. Conor won in Toronto...two of the best promos in history...the next two were pretty good but the first two...wow!!! My ppv money was guaranteed after this...Surprised it didnt beat the floyd vs pacquiao ppv, but it was damn close...probably the rise in illegal streaming since may vs pac accounted for that cos Im sure this fight waz even more anticipated.
I know CM's chances are very slim. And anybody who knows anything about boxing will agree. But I'm a CM fan because of the belief he has. I'm sure boxing fans think he's a damn clown and a poser. And its natural for them to think that because Floyd is a legend and a historic figure in boxing. But I remember how everyone who knew a lot in MMA also said he was a clown etc. And even so, he still delivered. Odds were almost always against when it came to big events. It would just be nice to see him continue to do that even though he's punching above his weight (Get it ;)). Love to all fans of fighting out there- boxing, MMA or other. @@angelmoreno1141 he was paid by the min per round it an exhibition he gets paid more to extend it for entertainment purposes, and there is a literal clip of him knocking him almost out cold, and he diddnt turn it up once against logan not once like he did at the end with conner which he wouldve knocked out if it was called.
