Needless to say, with a sport like boxing, there's always something sore somewhere at some time, probably i imagine at most times. Boxers at this caliber are incredibly conditioned but there bodies take such a punishment.

One thing i do know is that Manny Paqiuao is a true champion, but is still a human being with an ego like the rest of us and that fight, for what its worth, i thought it was ''closer'' to a tie than a defeat. Both fighters equally performed in opposite directions it seemed. Manny was shocked a great deal however. He usually devastates his opponents and his game plan, his intense agressiveness and calculated risk taking nearly always works. But Floyd is a highly adaptable fighter and obviously has a good eye---super cautious fighter, one of the best ''caution fighters Ive seen. I dont think thats a bad thing necessarily. Its boring and less than inspiring to watch, but at a technical level its still a skill in the ring and hard to do. I really respect Manny for not only his skill, but his humility and sportsmanship and foul-free style of fighting in the ring. Hes remarkable in many different categories, and a boxers character in and out of the ring is as much a part of that boxers legacy as that boxers skill inside the ring. In terms of that fact, Manny is as good a champion as there ever has been

And that’s why you saw Maidana put up a better fight cuz mayweather actually engaged and was more aggressive which is usually not his style. Maybe even top five. Some people, especially the boxers just want that 0 in the L column because they believe that’s what matters most. Fight the best at their best and no one walks away with a zero.
Anyone who fights mayweather should've made him come to them. He's a runner not a fighter. Muhammad Ali would chase them and dance around the ring. Floyd's defense is really good. He beats you to the punch , counters and offsets your movement. I don't know if Spence can't fight with this style of defense. If he doesn't he will get knocked out. He'll have to offset Pac's movement with a similar strategy.

He thought he was way ahead which is why he didn't go in as hard as he could've, because he felt like he didn't need to.

I am Filipino so obviously a big Manny Pacquiao fan, but I admire Mayweather. You see we are all missing the few underrated boxers who are truly a prodigy of boxing. Boxers like Dimitry Bivol and Mayweather alike who against powerful opponents and demonstrate their high level of boxing skills. Dimitry Bivol is probably even more skilled than Mayweather though. It’s not about power it really boils down to boxing ability and Mayweather and Dimitry Bivol are both unique in their own perspective. I even doubt Manny would have beaten Mayweather in his prime because Mayweather is highly skilled with only 16 percent of shots landing from opponents

Mayweather did nt even use the jab like Errol will. He was jab quick right hand then started ducking below the waist , using head control . Errol if he wants can just use the jab all night to make it easy. Use the right like Mayweather but also Errol could dig to the body and keep Pac close to slow him down for the later rounds
This fight is extremely difficult to score. For one, Floyd prances around shaking his head and waving a cocked hand to show dominance, but all that stuff is showmanship, not actual strikes inflicting damage. I think the only way to get a valid result is for a panel of at least 10 renown boxing experts to look at the footage in slow motion and score it round by round. Las Vegas is a biased fight Mecca in my opinion and I think the judges cards were indeed biased. Pacauiao did have surgery for the shoulder shortly after the fight and could not have been in top health although I do think the adrenalin during the fight might have' allowed fight at almost a healthy condition. But an injury requiring surgery must have limited him somewhat. My initial analysis was Floyd won. After watching what is available in slow motion, it looks like a draw or even possibly a win for Pacquiao if strikes are given more value than impressive defense and showmanship. Frustrating for all fans that wasn't a second fight or even a trilogy and I blame Floyd for that and if he was so sure of his win and superior margin, why not make hundreds and hundreds of millions more?Obviously, he concluded the risk would be too great.

This was closer to a tie than a win lose situation. In my estimation, Manny showed more heart and offensive skill, while floyd mayweather showed less heart, less overall offensive skill, or even willingness, but much more defensive skill. It almost looked like Manny in the 4th round during the flurry landed more shots than Floyd did in the rounds leading up to it. But Manny does throw an imprssive amount of punches and he can dazzle the eye with the sheer amount of punches he throws. Floyd is obviously a smart boxer, but against Manny his offense is behind by a large measure. I wouldnt claim to be anywhere near certified enough to go against the professionals in scoring, but i dont see this being a win lose type of deal

Which made his accuracy worse when Floyd adapted and started countering anything up top. Manny wanted the KO and didn't plan for anything else. If Manny wanted to start a combo Floyd just stepped back and made the punches ineffective if some did manage to touch. Floyd on the other had had greater impact, and had more chances landing when Manny was drastically slowing down. Floyd's stamina and speed stayed the same throughout giving him the edge on the long run. Commentators even thought Manny's performance was poor. Mayweather made him look average.
@@guywhosellsvapes4595 that's a fair analysis, a lot of what you said did happen. Floyd rendered a lot of manny's punches ineffective, although if you slow down each moment of the fight to an almost slow motion type of thing, it turns out that Manny did land more than the average eye is capable of detecting, especially when sitting in a fixed angle, like the judges would have been. Nevertheless I didn't see any clear victory for any fighter. I don't think Manny did all that well, and I don't think Floyd did all that well. It was an underwhelming performance on both ends, which is why I thought it was a tie. A rematch at this point would be the fairest way to determine what just one fight may never be able too
Floyd wasn't fully committed to that pull right hand counter as he would be to a less capable fighter..i think that showed the respect he had for pac!!!
Mayweather was boring, floyd was a money man for boxing as was PAC man, but Pac was exciting and good. Floyd was only a big ticket fighter because of his rigged 0 Losses ;).. Money talks these days, Boxing is almost as bad as wrestling, MMA is the only semi legit fighting sport for now.

The credit should go to Manny for landing more punches than mayweather did. I didn't feel like mayweather land that many punches throughout the whole boxing as he was credited for so technically Manny should've won that boxing match.
