His dad told him to go in the center of the ring to brawl fight and pressure Ryan which was a bad idea because all Ryan did was step back and counter with his signature left hook. What Devin should have done was fight really cautious and smart. Keep his distance and use his footwork to walk around the ring to keep range/distance not engaged in the center of the ring. Fight smart and use the jab to find opening to score points. Devin has a “pillow fist” so pressuring Ryan in the center of the ring was a huge mistake. Ryan is the stronger bigger puncher of the two.
