AI is broken. Z offset is limited by plus or minus .02mm. Flsun slicer is trash. The printer was rushed even after delays. If you’re looking for a click and print. Don’t buy it right now. Needs alot of work or opened ssh and let the community fix it
I did notice the z offset yesterday which is weird, the Ai did detect a few things that were not problems, and i personally use orca, I’m sure they will have a profile soon. I tried to get their config file to work and I wouldn’t for me. The flsun slicer is the same as most slicers and looks like prusa slicer, same with the qidi printers. Luckily these issues can be fixing with an update and doesn’t seem to be a printer problem but a rushed problem like you mentioned.

gnoring the video itself, I just wanted to point out to the people in the comment section, that FLSUN has copious amounts of GPL violations , printers without thermal runaway protections, misleading and outright false claims (see robert cowan's videos) , banning people who are talking negatively about their products (even just pointing out flaws) from their discord servers, even going as far as botting comments (see clough's review). This printer i can only use , GARBAGE, to describe the sheer poor quality of it. As a "tech channel", needing to get that bag and stay in the company's good graces is understandable, but due to how bad this company is in as far as going to asking reviewing scripts of videos containing said printer, I absolutely cannot ignore how dangerous it is if someone happened to buy this printer through influencing. I'm pretty sure this script is FLsun approved, anyway, given how it was nothing but praises about the most minute things about it. TLDR: It's just an ad, DO NOT BUY.

The reason some of the pei is coming off the bed is that you have to let it cool first, the reason they use pei for beds is that it becomes more sticky as temperature rises and become pretty much non stick when its cold.
Nice, I have an old Creality. considering a newer one. looking at FSsun s1 and Bambu x1c, multi-color looks interesting. Would likely only do top later color change. Would you/can you do that on an Flsun? or only for single pieces? I would imagine filament swap for multiple pieces and the layers would cool too much? I've never tried it, so don't know the limitations.
You kind of can but it’s a huge pain. The X1C is a great printer and if you are interested in multi color I’d definitely go that route. I have a few videos on my main channel two moose design. I just posted on on the smaller one the A1. The P1S is amazing with the AMS too and cheaper than the x1c
It’s pretty crazy, I’ve only run high speed pla in it, the other print speeds with different filaments look pretty normal speed wise. Im going to mess around with some tpu today
