I have some Fluance floorstanders that I bought used as part of a 5.0 HT set. They aren’t bad but not without flaws. I recently picked up a new set of floorstanders from Paradigm (3000f), honestly so much better, better coherence, sound stage, clarity, tight bottom end, imaging, pretty well everything. Can be had for under $800 CAD on sale.

Those Are Fantastic Looking Towers, I Have a Pair Of Fluance SXBP2 Surrounds But For My Front L/R Speakers Are POLK AUDIO Studio Monitor 75T So Unfortunatley I'll Never Have a Need For These Beautiful Fluance Towers...

10:14 I thought sure that thing was going to fall over. Thanks K, I've been vacillating on which speakers to buy over the last few months and this presentation convinced me. I have a question on the speaker connections, if I am just going to connect these to my "beautiful, talented and powerful" Onkyo TX-Sv90Pro receiver, which binding posts do I use, upper or lower?

I bought these speakers about couple years ago for $1100 Canadian. I too was taken by their looks and size thinking something this good looking must sound great. Well...they don't. Long story short, I ended up selling them for less than third of the price. Fluance makes some great products (turntables)but this is not one of those. But I'm curious what you have to say about them.

Sounds like a nice pair of speakers, for $800/pair from your review. Unfortunately, there is no place to listen to those and some other brands @ BB (Magnolia). I actually told n associate that for being the only Electronic store, the inventory is lacking in many areas!

I have a pair of 600m for L&R center channel is 500c. Surround L&R are Polk t15 receiver is onkyo sr393. Should I keep speakers I have and upgrade to the rz50 or keep the receiver I have now and just buy the fluance signature surround set

Interesting to come back though :) most reviewers just do the one way highway way... they never look back and switch quickly from one speaker or amp or dac to the next... I like your idea to revisit an ''old'' speaker you liked and have lived with, but this time with more knowledge and maybe wisdom too :) cheers and happy new year!

@@Kpaceguy but I don't know how to think about the fact that Fluance seems to never wanna upgrade these towers which are their all time top of the line ever... most brands do offer a mkII of the same speaker after 2-3 years on the market with some sometimes significant upgrades (like Canton or Mission just to name the two brands). Maybe disappointing but at the same time interesting policy of Fluance.
