The creator explained that there are many reasons in one of his very own Tumblr posts, but one thing he said was that he is completely redesigning fluffle puff as well as chrysalis (however you spell it) and that he wants to carry on with the two. Though he also wants to stop copying the MLP design and make it truly his own! He said that he hopes the community stays by him for his recreation. I hope it was all true and not something to use an excuse until people give up.
