My mom use to giveaway my stuff if behaved like an asshole to someone at school or a parent. However, when my mom treats me like shit or calls my girlfriend a “whore,” I wait until she’s away to go into her closet and throw away a couple of her expensive shoes and throw them away in the garbage can. My mom called my girlfriend a whore quite recently to my face and she will going on a month long trip to Europe to do a religious pilgrimage. She’s going to lose about 7 pairs of expensive shoes for being an asshole to me.

You dont want the embarassment to hit too hard though. I was playing in the playground at 2nd Grade and it suddenly rained. All the kids had their jackets, and I had mine cuz my parents listened to the forecast. It didnt fit. They laughed, and I never wore a jacket for 15 years :D Instead of learning from their mistakes, some kids would actively avoid it and have a breakdown if they are unable to. I endured cold @ss temperatures for a dumb childhood memory. Got sick because I refused to wear one.
