Finally some answers! I've been looking up how to use whipped soap but the results keep appearing of "how to make whipped soap" and it pissed me off. Thank you for sharing this video
Where do you get your colors from and fragrances..also with the color is it powder, not sure what mica is but mica or gel. Which one u recommend im new to this...thank u
I get my powder colorants (Mica) and ( neon Pigments) from www.nurturesoap.com mica , oxides and pigments are used to color bath and body products. These are skin safe. Unlike food coloring or crayons, these products are made for the cosmetic industry. I purchase skin/soap safe fragrances oils from www.naturesitems.com. When using fragrance oils and essential oils each one has a proper usage amount listed by the supplier this is known as the IFRA rate. Many other great suppliers carry colorants and fragrances, however these are two of my favorites. Hope this helps! Thanks so much for asking your questions!
Kimberly Fixx I actually have a line on the curing rack that are vegan. 5 different scents and one unscented. The won't be ready until November 😟 Sorry! I can keep you posted...
I'm so confused! Is it soap? I made a base(early still in my soap skills) and realized after the fact that it shouldn't be soap without lye, right? I created one like this and the PH was really low. This is probably a stupid question if someone could please help me on if this is considered soap. Thank you!
Rachel Barnhouse thank you so much for watching! You are correct it’s not actually soap. I am almost certain it is referenced as such because it’s a “cleansing” product .... aka “soap” to the general public... it’s less confusing to the consumer. It definitely is marketed as a “soap” but in fact has no lye. This is actually a surfactant based cleanser. Here at WBS... No question is stupid! We allall are beginners once....I asked a lot of questions myself when I started... I’ve been doing this for a few years and I still have tons of questions... The pH for this base is usually around 6-6.5, I use it for my face hair and body. I love this stuff!!
@@WhiteBuoySoaps thank you for the answer! I was always told you can't make soap without lye so I was stuck on that lol. I made a huge batch and didn't know what the heck to use it as/call it so I'm so happy to hear its still a cleanser. Loving your channel! 💚
Heritage soap and candle company on Etsy is selling a great Whipped body butter recipe In this recipe it uses water which is way better I use water also is not greasy beautiful smooth and soft great recipe This one is cheap also 9.99 and they have a RU-vid channel and they show you how to make it but no measurement you have to buy the recipe Check it out nice video
Karen Walters thanks so much, body butters are awesome, this is a cleanser so the two are quite different. I would love to make a body butter that isn't greasy. I don't care for that feeling! I am headed over to check out the video! Thanks again for the tip😊
Wonderful video! But, just a request let’s be more mindful about not wasting our natural resources. The water tap is on in the background continuously!
