Love your work. I have just started with the fluid painting after many years of NOT doing much art at all and I LOVE it. I follow a few people (you being one) who do fluid paintings and what I love is how different it can be from person to person as well as from painting to painting!! Black and White can be hard but you got a beautiful result. Before all the cells appeared it reminded me of an abstract graphite work I did many years ago. 😀. Very cool.

I did two black and white paintings the other day and was trying to achieve all the pebble look. I did white on black then black on white. They look great, but no pebble look. I haven't tried the pouring medium you use. I used Floetrol. You got what I wanted! I have learned soooo much from you! Thank you for all your instruction and videos!

mel, this painting is my absolute favorite of any of yours... and i'm a a-clown-threw-up-on-my-canvas-and-it-needs-more-colors-color-kinda person. i don't know if you picked it up yourself, but that looks so dimensional the cells look like bubbles and the white jumps out at me... and so blatantly dimensional thati can tell ya the white sits about 4 inches higher to my eye than the black does. WOW. did anyone else see that? that was so cool to watch... at least on my screen, its friggin awesome!!!! god. i like that. well done! and i think the amount of change that went thru is like magic. i keep watching the timelapse over and over. its a completely different piece. nuts. BRAVO!!!! BRAVO~~~~ THE CROWD GOES WILD!!!shoot do another one!!

Wow ! it changed so much, though it is GREAT! I loved the way it looked right away it looked 3D with the faint gray on the center cave part.

I like it alot! The cells at the bottom are incredible! They remind me of popcorn bursting out everywhere.

I have finally gotten some paints mixed and ready to pour, but still have not been able to set up a place to pour. I'm working on it though.

VERY COOL!!! i love the fact that you used a grip of pouring medium cuz i always feel like im using too much but i just like the effects. but anyways it turned out beautifully as always with your paintings. i think you are the best paint pour painter. whenever anybody asks me how to do it i just basically tell them to watch you, you do such a good job of running down the whole shpeel of the process. youre the greatest! much love to you and yours! Cool, classic David Alfaro Siqueiros effect..Isn't it amazing he discovered this technique by accident in the 1930's.... and here we all, are still doing it today.....cool...

I know in some of your other videos you use the whole 2oz color with splash of LPM. How much water do you add? I did take note that you used more PM to this Pour but wondered how much water u also used here. I am dying to try so many of the videos I have watched but still trying to figure out how all the PMs work for me. My results have been fair. I used LPM for the first time yesterday & can't wait to do another experiment! TY for all you share. It's nice to hear the explanation of how it all works. I am eager to get more successes !

MelyD, have you tried adding PVA glue with your pouring medium to help the black & white stay separated? I’m just wondering if that’s another option since keeping the grey effect from happening is the goal. 💜 ur art!!

I didn't seem to catch what your mix is of the white and black. What brands and ratios of the black and white did you use, if you don't mind my asking, unless of course your mixes are proprietary.

In the painting if you have the black corner facing the top left on the bottom left with the small back space and the grey cells it kinda looks like a baby in an ultrasound picture but the white looks like tree branches.

I would like to know if you should pre mix the paint an have it in bottles for use any time or would it dry up even if you had a top on it .?

I'm not a fan of the puddle pours, usually, the patterns most get, are jagged.......Very nice surprise , and you didn't "dink" around with it and you let it be it's own self.....If you sell your creations....this is bound to be a #1 seller!

do you add silicone to your mix or paints? You got so many cells and I'm trying to figure out if its becuase of the pouring medium alone or if there is silicone. Beautiful job!

I love your work - for the life of me though I am not seeing what you are doing that is causing your painting to "blossom' after you walk away from it? No silicone? No decoart? Just paint and Liquitex? Did I miss something because I am not seeing any kind of changes when I am done painting.

I use alcohol for cells and without it i get no cells at all. Sometimes i prefer that look but i find it crazy how your paint moves with no additives. Without something making the paint rise up through the other colors, be it evaporation or heat rising etc, how this is happening? Perhaps i should experiment with you preferred paint brand... Edit: I just noticed you thin your paint much more than i do. I wonder if the thinner paint lends itself for more cell production?

Ici en France ,pas de floetrol,pas de silicone 100%, le w40 ne fonctionne pas beaucoup .j ai fais plein plein d essais en réfléchissant beaucoup!!!!👄🙇sans résultat avec " peu de moyens". Et je ne commande pas sur internet après être arnaqué 2 fois 🙇.Si j ai bien compris , vous avez sur cette vidéo,que le blanc et le noir,+ liquidex ! ? Pourquoi ces grosses cellules?
