I know this question has been answered already but, yes micro farads are used for testing capacitance. This meter is a really good model for HVAC/R work because you can test resistance, voltage, temperatures, amp draw, and capacitance all with one meter. Very important to have one of these in the tool bag with how versatile it is.
I don't think you did. You can't test a changed capacitor. Have to be discharged and not connected to a supply. You can calculate the capacitance if you know the voltage, current, and frequency. But that's going to need some maths.
Hi does it read DC amps below 40amps? Bit confused with the range that is listed on the webpage. I've subbed and enjoying atlot of your videos. Great work👍
Looks like a nice unit. I have the kewtech KT200. It’s ok. Doesn’t have the min/max setting on amps so will need to get a different unit. Do you have or recommend an earth leakage clamp meter? Maybe the next tools4sparks video 🤔
uF is capacitance, and the thermometer is great for HVAC techs reading duct work tmep and even refrigerant line temps is you don't have a pipe clamp thermometer
Ohm's is pronounced the same way as in the video in the uk, maybe other countries have a different pronunciation like "Oregano" Uk or USA spelt the same
@Alan Lumsden Of all the words to picky about. So you are fine with “rooters” & “H8chDMIs”, but the way he says ohms is beyond the pale for you? To each their own...
Hi..i don't know wtf is ac dc a v or oem.. can you please help me find a meter clamp for a car which reads automatically the shit I'm putting the clamp multimeter on ?! Thanks!
