I actually think any YGO deck would clean up at Magic events. Every card has 0 mana cost and every monster has enough attack power to OTK hundreds of times over. I’m honestly shocked Magic players have not realized the incredible potential of this loophole before now.

The fact that you weren’t playing D shifter is mind blowing. It single-handedly lifts this deck from great to amazing. Sure, it sucks in the mirror - but the mirror generally sucks. D shifter switches off veiler and even if they imperm you, they probably can’t do anything under shifter anyway. And thanks to its in-archetype graveyard banisher, you can remove shifter from your gy to allow it to resolve again

A couple suggestions; D-shifter is mandatory imo, the deck struggles going second and dshifter is a turn skip against most decks so it seriously helps out. Drawing into it later isn't even bad because you can easily manipulate the gy with strix and raiza - speaking of, you can stack shifter with raiza for infinite shifter activations. Run extrav - yes even with prosp and duality. Drawing prosperity or extrav off of extrav doesn't matter, you just wanna see a pot card as soon as humanly possible so u can dig through your deck for the field spell, or for shifter. Oh i'd also recommend triple strix, even turn 1 you can usually get something in the GY and it's useful having more ways to normal summon a winged beast and normal summon again, so yeah, it comes up. 1 toucan is definitely correct because it's the hardest one to facilitate it's effect

Huge misplay in the first replay, you had one extra normal turn 1 you could have used to summon strich and tribute summon apex to clear the board

The Book of Moon tech is brilliant, and I had never considered using Mega Riza as a psudo Yata-Gurasu before. My hat is off to you Joseph Rothchild AKA MBT! Other cards to consider in this deck include: -Harpie's Feather Storm is too powerful to not run at 3. It is a Normal Trap that can only be activated if you control a Wind Winged-Beast, that negates your opponent's monster effects for the entire turn. It's basically Azathot, and can stun your opponent just long enough to either give you a second chance to combo off, or to take away any chance of your opponent's comeback. -Barrier Statue of the Storm Winds can be searched by Robina if you already have Eaglen in rotation (happens often). -Flundereeze and the Scary Sea is a Counter Trap that is searchable via Empen. When your opponent tries to Special Summon while you control a Tribute Summoned monster, you can negate that summon and lock your opponent out of special summoning for the rest of the turn, at the low cost of your opponent getting 2 extra normal summons, that they will be unable to take advantage of. -Dimension Shifter, Macro Cosmos, and Dimensional Fissure, since you basically don't use the GY, and your opponent probably does. Worth keeping in the Sidedeck even if you don't want to main these, but you can absolutely main these. Shifter is especially good at convincing your opponent that they should just skip their turn. These even turn off your opponent's Effect Veiler/Ghost Ogre/etc.

Loving this format of TMT, the archetype breakdowns are interesting and your delivery is perfect❤️❤️❤️

seriously I love this deck in concept so much. It's art is cool and its strategy looks really strong and this video was good for getting an idea of what extra cards I could try running to help it. right now my only problem is I don't have any disposable income so even besides the expected secret rare(s) in this archetype, I wouldn't be able to get any of the cards. But I think I'd really like to try making this deck

I love this deck so much! Hadn't really seen the dogma version but the pure stun one is even better I'd say you just trade consistency for versatility(shifter is insane going 2nd). Also a fun little combo you can do? The harpie that can ns another winged beast and feather storm, have lost count how many times they have activated lightning storm jus to pass turn AND I get duster lol

This was a really great episode. Dogma and Book of Moon are techs I never saw coming. The first two games were cool for seeing new bode archetypes while also showing the deck's weakness to hand traps, and that last VW match I think might just be THE best match in a TMT. While I may still think the deck is only rogue, I'm interested in being proven wrong, and this episode is starting to birb pill me.

The book of Moons is a really good idea for the deck, but I'm not sold on your lack of the counter trap, as it really does blanket games with a single activation. That being said, it ain't great against fusions so it is situational. There are a lot of options for Flundereeze and if you don't plan on playing Punishment, Harpie's Feather Wind is a pretty great card to just blanket a turn

Seeing this video reminded me of something, so I went through my collection and sure enough I found that I have 2 mint Dimension Shifters! Sure it’s the cheapest brand but because flundereeze (nuts) is coming up soon and expected to be super meta the shifters are raising in price, thanks for reminding me of those, they’re going to be amazing barging tools in the future I’m sure

Love the new deck it is very powerful and fun although I am more cyber style at the moment. Here’s a nice spicy card: Skull Meister. He has the effect of that when your opponent activates an effect in the graveyard (quicky) discard this card negate that effect. Figured I would let ya know for future deck profiles

I think this deck is kinda sick, I have been play-testing a similar one but I like the added Book of Moons. I would add the Barrier Statue of the Storm Winds personally, because with the Raiza recurring lock, forcing them into normal summoning first forces the Flundereeze trap and let's you go into your combo and shut down their board every turn, plus you can easily have boards that normal summon Ecclesia and also end with Empen and the Barrier Statue, the Flunereeze and Dogmatika traps, and maybe an Imperm or Book of Moon sometimes. It is crazy repressive at it's best and can play around hand traps, but it also can brick like pre-Miami Lebron lol

I personally enjoyed the joke. It takes a special kind of unhinged, himbo aura to ignore all societal red flags which such a line would provoke.

its just a stun version of Fur Hire. Idk how good it is in this specific list, but the Winged-Beast Pot of Greed card is really good in this deck imo particularly once you get the Normal Summon chain going.

13:34 MBT, you can trigger Robina as CL1 and Toucan as CL2 so in case of THIS happening, you can have your starter back to hand 14:46 Also to avoid Ash Im suggesting leaving a small Flunder in banish zone so you can chainblock (not gonna lie Ash on Eagle often happens)

I think this deck is at it's best with shifter in the main but I can see how it conflicts with the dogmatika engine

It will be tier -1 in the TCG. We cant help but want to SS 50 times a game and when we cant, we freeze up worse then a man petrified at the sight of a tractor moving 5 mph coming right at him.

Genuine Question: Everytime I Lancea a Flundereez-Player player just sets one pass... But why tho? Is it for real that bad if you can't get the recursion? I've seen many hands were they could set up Empen (it's still a one card combo tho and no need to banish)

I think flundereeze played as a more control deck makes more sense with cards like quiet life and lose one turn puts the deck into serious advantage
