I'm not going to demotivate any attempt in favour of flutes. But brother, you know that flute- no matter how well tuned, or how badly tuned- depends mainly on artist... And the practice on that particular flute right?? I have played most of the flutes that you have shown... And i really hoped that you'd have included flutes from harshwardhan ji or anubodh. You'd surely know, ki sach me flutes kaisi honi chahiye. Flute market is booming, and every month i see new flutemakers... But quality- ofcourse comes with passion.
Only S should be dependent on player. Rest of the sargm should be in tune while playing in the same way. Each sur of the sargm shouldn't need to be tuned by player.
Nice to watch.I am also in the habit plying on flute.sarfuddin one of the best brand.punam is no doubt superb.being ur brother from Pauri I would suggest u to always keep watch on ur lips while placing them on blowing hole in order to avoid hissing sound this much.God bless u.This is always good in life to have a habit like this.
As an expert flutist out of India, I can assure you that Sarfuddin flutes are much better. Mr. Subhash do not use a professional tuning device and makes the flute by ear. He boasts with this, but the tuning of the flutes he sent me were not perfect. They were not too bad, but not perfect enough for professional playing. The tuning of the flutes that Mr. Sarfuddin sent me were perfect. Also they have better sound and tone. Mr. Sarfuddin uses darker and older bamboo. Tastes differ, but I think these older bamboo with some black patterns look better. People who praise Punam flutes are either amateurs or experts who review flutes made for them with extra care.
Punam flute are charging extremely high cost. In video I can see you feel difficult finger spacing. I hate suppliers who are charging money double or three times and they don’t care about ergonomic.
Sir me aap ko ek bat kenna chatahu ki aapka sabi video dekh chukahu likin ek bat he me Nepal se hu mebi flutes player hu but mera sochai me aapne Nepal ke professional flute mekar buddha lama ka flutes lijiye badme muje boliye kasi lagtahe ?? Nice... Compare Sarfuddin vs punom flute.... It will gain more more views.... Im sure... These two flutes are mostly available in online market and top selling... People searches about it... I already purchased sarfuddin flute set... With 5 flutes... But i want to know whats the difference with punom.
I have a c natural and an e base punam flute. While i am not really familiar with the bamboo quality, so cant really talk about that. But i have played sarfuddin's c natural. The sound of that flute was amazing, same as punam(a bit better may be). But the finishing of the flute was not up to the mark, wasn't properly polished.the major differnce was the weight, sarfuddin is a little heavier than punam!
@@musicandpoetry8131 I have also punam flutes but some time you need to purchase from workshpp by own.. im playing mukund flute from last 4 yrs i think it is bit better than punam flutes

Bass flutes are more or less comes in good quality. But when comes to higher pitch, I think the quality of the sound changes because I purchased C# (not mentioning the maker's name) but in the higher notes the sound shakes. And same is the case with D#. I think the flute sounds good when it matches with the flutist's anatomy and blowing power. Maestros customize it hence sounds good when played. Normal people just buy ready made. But I appreciate the effort and honesty. I also started learning about the same time.
I have also bought one flute from flipkart// B sharp// I have started learning by watching online tutorials// plz advice if it is possible to learn flute by online tutorials?
Helloo Sirji Namaskar Plz Parthji ko aap respect se boliye...shayad aap unke bareme nahi jante...aur ek bat kehni hai aap unko local Artist ya Local maker na boliye...aap bhi player ho..to apko Jarur pata hona chahiye ek Player ka respect...Jay Hind🇮🇳 Jay Maharashtra🚩

Brother can you tell me Ebase sarfuddin flute fingering hole distance in cm, because my finger is short I want to order one flute. They will customize flute
Hi, I think if you tell them your height they made a best fit for you. But before that are you holding the flute correctly. especially big flutes like EBase FBase you have to hold it diagnoally by fingers rather then straight on holes. do check before you order customized one.
@@Viswanath940 ideal distance of top 3 holes is 1inch, and then last three holes is .75 inch and 2inch appx. but it might vary depends upon the diameter of the bamboo.
How to get idea that which fluet is good one ? From where to get. Same way I am not getting any more details about Fluet on youtube. Thanks for video. I have also like to play just as hobby. Not a professinoal. Also tell me is it hard to play. How to keep fingure on whole, entire holes cover or half or both ? Also blowing hole is near to lips or down of it ? Pl guide me
Hahahaha u have asked a lot of question, myself also had once these questions. Here is answer for all? It's very hard to play Flute in initial phases once u know the trick then it's very easy. Based on the size of Flute fingers are placed accordingly..it's difficult to tell here see my videos u will get an idea how I am holding it. Regarding the lips hole it is also adjusted as per ur blow technique..first press all holes and blow then remove all fingers then blow on every blow u should get clear tone...no shhhhhh.
Honestly these masters don't stick to specific manufacturer, rather they try out different flutes of different scales from different manufacturer and mostly try to stick to few of them who provide perfect custom version of flutes based on there style of blowing, style of grabbing. And I have seen many flutist who have different combinations of brands with different scales
Most of the concerts are played in E-bass flutes. But depends on the raga and the mood of the performer. Many maker's also associate maestros name with them, like Pt. Hari Prasad with Punam flute, Pt. Ronu Mazumdar and Flute Naveen with Anand Dhotre's. But that's just surface. As our brother said they can use any as long as the maker is ready to make customized flutes for them
I have personally used Anand Dhotre's C-flutes. It was also good. Doesn't require much harder blow. But again that depends on a person's ability to blow. The price is also nominal. You can try it. But its always better to go with G-bass if you are an adult. Gives you a dexterity for both bass and sharp flutes alike.
@@jayantbhatia3515 aap ek hi flute lo or achi lo ek hi baar, poonam ya sarfuddin me se koi ek le lo. Aaj kal poonam flutes jaada achi hai brand, quality wise but sarfuddin bhi achi hai or budget me bhi. Agar 4k ka budget hai to poonam lena. Or kam ka hai to sarfuddin
Try "anubodh" or "harshwardhan" flutes. They're the true flute makers. Others.... You'd know the difference if you've played flutes made by them... Do try
Bhaiji Namaskar!! Aaj kal mai bhi fluet sekh raha hu, aur Garhwali geeto ka sukeen hu, I hope ki aap ki videos dekh ke bahut kuchh seekh paunga...Bahut bahut dhanybad jankari ke liye👍👍👍👌👌
