Wow, I've been struggling with theme management in Flutter, and your tutorial came to the rescue! Your approach is so straightforward, and I appreciate the attention to detail. Subscribed for more!
Hi Hussain, I'm having trouble loading other saved settings or themes in Settings page (shared preferences). I'm using a Toggle Button, and when loading the current state, it lags behind. I can't solve it with initState. Should I use didChangeDependencies? I'm trying to retrieve it through the Provider class. What should I do for the ideal load operation from the provider class? Can you help :/ Thanks.
My project does not seems to detect neither the 'MultiProvider' class nor the 'ChangeNotifierProvider' class either. I did not see a dependency on the import section, what am I missing? I am using Flutter within Android Studio.
Is this abig difference between it and the default way by creating different themes files for each theme , in terms of its complexity and time of reloading the theme?
Thank you for the Hussain video. Is this method the best method for you? Or is it to show that there is another way? I used to define theme colors and settings in the Constants folder and use them with Provider again. Does using JSON create any slowdown?
Hi, there are multiple approaches to solving the same problem. This solution I’ve demonstrated works equally as well as what you’ve mentioned as well and that’s also a good way of approaching the problem. It completely depends on your preference.
