Thanks for redoing it! Even with the suggestions I tried and commented on the other video, I still had a hard time getting it to work. Flutter moves so fast in its development.
Hi,very nice explanation I have used this approach in my project, but facing problem while populating pre-filled values in form and then on update action with those value ,controller doesn't get updated with pre-filled value and null is return from controller stream. Please help me how to update controller with initial values.
hi there, I liked the video, actually works nice, but I have a question, how do you delegate all stream values to a event output through the yield of a state? I cannot just call a getter and pass it to the yield CertainState as I used to, in fact I sadly think I have a wrap another getter to take the values out from the streams...
Great tutorial, I always like the neat and easy to read code formatting. It would be good to show how to populate initial values in both text field and stream using a controller in a stateful widget.
Hi.. I need to know how to navigate to next screen after submit the form Where should i get callback to check request is complete or not and If complete navigate to next screen
This is probably a dump question, but inside the bloc you defined a dispose method. Shouldn't you call this something like so: Provider(dispose: (context, value) => value.dispose(),.. ?
Not dumb at all! To close yourself you would want to have a stateful widget somewhere in the tree that calls it when the widget state is disposed. I didn't worry about it here but probably should have.
Unfortunately no. Most is still valid, but I just checked on the BLoC section and it hasn't been updated to use the Provider package which is pretty standard now.
Thanks so much. It is a good suggestion. After the Provider series I would like to do another full app with an API and could certainly work in validation
