Thank you :). Non at all, my only comment is that due to the curvature you can't use magnetic algae scraper magnets so you have to accept you will be getting your hand in there and taking off any algae growth when it happens.

The nozzles just come off leaving the outlets so its easy to fit the filter over :)

I've used a filter in each of the 2 outlets. Would just the one like on the video be preferable?

I have never had any issues with jumping however I do have a betta hammock just under the feeding hole. He likes to sit on it when I am near waiting for food. I think the hammock would stop him ever getting up the speed to get properly airborne if you were worried about something like that.

You can get a feeding hole cover off eBay they are cheap and just fix in if your worried

Yes it was just a cheap air stone off amazon, I currently have mine sitting in the empty back compartment of the area with the filter/pump etc.

Wasn't certain but I have a second one in there as well now and it reads the same as my electric one. The thermostat on the heater is definitely a bit out unfortunately.

Yeah for sure, I made this video not that long after I started in the hobby and I now have the airstone on all the time. I may make a new video to go through things like that :)

He's probably referring to the lack of training and knowledge pet store workers receive. See I work at a pet store and their training comes from videos and papers instead of physical interactions or classes so it makes it hard to absorb information therefore we are considered stupid for not doing our homework. However, it is my firm believe that if folks are going to get into the hobby that they should do some research on their own before turning fish into a project their not really passionate about which results in a lot of fatalities. See its easier to blame someone else instead of accepting responsibility that folks don't seek out their own knowledge and rely solely on the words and advice from others. 🙂
