Can you explain why you have your outlet so low in the water? surly it would be beneficial for the tank if the outlet was nearer the surface?

How do you keep the sand clean? Won’t a tank vacuum suck it all up?

I use a gravel vac that takes the sand up in the tube and cleans the sand then drops it to the bed of the tank again

Ive just bought the tank and im not convinced the filter provides enough water movement for a healthy tank
