Best Knife Edge Pass ever. Major Jones drew the edge of the runway absolutely perfect. Loved watching the Hick on the hard pull too. Not to mention the perfect blend of music, radio traffic and first person video. Thanks for making, editing and sharing this with mere mortals...
Fantastic job! The best on board camera work I've seen. Thanks. By the way, nice to hear the applause at the Super Bowl yesterday when the T-birds appeared on the jumbotron!
Watching them using their breathing techniques, maintaining precision and absolute control.. beyond amazing. True professionals! Still watching this in 2018, thanks for posting this.
Sigh......bar.....raised.....all hell just throw the damn thing away already! Such a righteous perspective from "the man's" seat! And I have so much respect for the ground crew and chief taking care of Buttercup so Deuce can jump back in and tear it up again! Thanks for your service guys and an awesome 2014 season! I love my virtual job!!! SOLO'S RULE!!!!!
Love how the '5' is upside down on both the plane and his flight suit so you can read it when the plane is inverted. What a treat it was to see the Blue Angels and T-Birds fly over Atlanta during their tribute to healthcare workers during the COVID pandemic.
I was just at Langley AFB this past weekend and the Thunderbirds were there. I lived near Oceana and Langley and it was the best childhood you could ask for.
I truly enjoy this video with senech soler playing "LAST FOREVER" can't get enough of it i have always been a #1 fan of the thunderbirds and continue to enjoy them til this day
Outstanding video! Loved my career working on F-16, F-22, and F-35 programs, and the T'birds do it best! Red Arrows have more planes, but don't do it any better, especially here in the states having to comply with FAA airshow regs.
Notice around minute 4 the wing shape changing. The leading edge movements are quick and you can see how it helps the planes do the quick turns. The wing basically goes from a razor edge knife with not much lift. . . then change to a contour in less than a second. I liked seeing the pilot adjust the throttle as the did close maneovers. I always wondered how much they tweak the throttle to get real close to each other. thanks for the vid. But still have to say Blue Angels do a good show too. :)
Well, you guys made the best Thunderbird video ever. Congrats, and I really hope our PA and USAF PA share the hell out of this. It'd be nice to see a few million views. You guys deserve it!
«« I LIVE A 1/4 MILE FROM NELLIS AIR4CE BASE HERE IN VEGAS◎STRONG,NV, AND EVERY NOW AN THEN WHEN AT THE BASE THEY BUZZ LOW OVERHEAD WITH THEIR MIGHTY FLYIN MACHINES OF GLORY!!
oh yeah...3:37-3:45.....SOLO Perfection at high speed...You could put a sharpie on the back of the port rail mount and draw a line down the left side of the runway 19 and split the paint...
These guys are truly fantastic flyers. I remember seeing them pass by in 2019 during their dedication to the first responders during the beginning of the Covid 19 pandemic. They flew byl so fast that I was so amazed at the speed they flew by. The next day I told my home health aide that my spine spun around and I ended up with whiplash 🤣 🤣🤣
My late father was a boom operator in Vietnam! My God how he loved to watch you guy's fly! Me too~ I'd go up with you anytime. Tytytyty for the memories
Still amazed at how they can spin the earth around like that - its a big planet and how they can make delicate moves on the control stick with an 800 pound gorilla sitting on top of them. I flew my f-16 this morning - no , really I did, okay its a remote control version I admit - but I did do rolls, loops, Cuban 8, and all the standard aerobatics.
Then go to the Air Force academy, get a degree in astronautical engineering, become a test pilot, and then get to major and be one of the best pilots in the Air Force.
The best from the best pilots in the world thanks guys for your wonderful performance and for give me the pleasure for whaching but not the pleasure to fill the power and the Gforces thanks guys from Carlos Portugal
