Love fly fishing! My best luck has always come from double set ups, either Caddis up top and something small and shiny trailing behind or a stonefly off the bottom with something small in the middle.
Quick tip for a fishing spot or watering ,( especially in the wild ) -find moving water (not still) -do not drink still water without distilling it/boiling it first . -do not distill with certain types of plants as you may get sick, -there are certain times in which to not eat seafood( red tide)

I honour this Walmart fly reel I’ve had it for over a year but I stopped using it about six months back, brought it out to the river and the tip part snapped and I didn’t even have a fish on the line I was just casting. Great beginner rod for learning for 50 bucks but will not last once you start entering that intermediate level. Stay blessed guys and keep fishing

Well lucky you to have a river like that close by... all i got is a lake full of bluegill, perch and some pike... they are ok deep fried but you get tired of all the bones and little to eat.
NICE🎯😎☕ . One day, I see a good buddy's car, parked on side of road, near a great fishing spot. I stopped, went down to the water, quietly. My buddy, standing about waist deep in water. Fish jumping all around him, up and down the waterway... He had a disgruntled look, on face😠... couldn't get one fish to bite.
