GregO! Where is the spot to be fishing around EL? Gonubie or Nahoon? Causeway, river or estuary? Im battling to catch at the moment. 😂 by the way i grew up going to Gubu dam! Absolute beaut of a place. Camping grounds were the best.
Howzit! Ja Gubu is really lovely but so cold 🙈. Nahoon is sadly not good due to the sewerage, even worse now with loadshedding. Gonubie is lekker but gets very busy on the weekends. Kwelera is lekker but very silted since we haven't had our floods for almost a decade. So fishing is a bit tough at the moment but always fun regardless. Always good to get out even if you don't catch anything decent. Spots are usually seasonal. Causeway is great when the skippies are around. Rivers can all be quiet in winter but not always the case.
