Yikes, tough to give up a prime spring day on the Big C to drive all the way to Merritt to Stump in those temps!!! Pre-turnover is a crap shoot Wx and fishing!
Yes, this was a week ago but this lake was not affected by the winter kill. Big, deep lake with freshwater flowing in and out. Some lower elevation, shallower BC lakes have definitely been hit with some winter kill and we will know more as the ice comes off.
