Winter is on the horizon, as a mid autumn trip between my partner and I takes place here towards the end of our regular season in a South Island Gorge stream in search for Brown and Rainbow trout. Thank you so much for the kind words. A real mission to get in this section but your not wrong. My partner did extremely well to keep up with me. Considering I'm a man once I get started up a river I tend to be in for the Long haul and do what ever it takes to get through which at times can present sketchy situations as you saw haha. That's part of the territory though at times when you go to these types of waterways

@@HighcountryFlylife Not sure, I just cruise NZ FF almost every day b4 I go to sleep. I dream of people not always at each other's throats like it is in the states these days. Oregon is a little like NZ, but not quite. I spent a month there in 18, fished with guides for 2 days at the start and end of the trip.

Thanks mate. So much character about the smaller streams. Although this stretch it is a little dicey at times, but It is my personal preference of waters to fish I shall say.

Yeah was quite comical at times that trip. The video doesn't quite do it justice to the mission it was to get down to that spot and the time and effort to get to the other end. We were pretty sore waking up the next day lol. Legs, back, arms, you name it. Missus done extraodinary to see it through. Thanks for watching brother 👊
