Great video Tom. 90% of my fishing is along the south west so its great to see a few different parts of the rivers fish are located in. Learnt a lot as always

great video once again Tom! Always imfomative and good to watch. A bit off topic but im planning on a trip to Newlyns next week and since I know its one of your favourite waters I was hoping you could give me some tips on what to expect at this time of year{April} Do you reckon I should be nymphing, smelters? or should i expect a hatch of mayfies or midge. I mostly have fished rivers so I would appreciate any imfo you can share for this time of the year. WAtched all your vids but the lake stuff has been winter and spring. What should I expect in Autumn mate?

Thanks mate! Autumn you can expect anything, you can almost fish them anyway. I wrote an article on Victorian Lakes in Autumn that was published in FlyLife this time last year. So Autumn issue 2021. It breaks down all of the techniques and flies, the imagery is even on Newlyn! Cheers, Tom
