Sammie Purcell of the Original Cast, Vanderbilt University's musical revue troupe, performs "Fly Into The Future" from Vanities in As Years Go By (Spring 2017)
WOW! I have been involved in local community theater shows for about 40 years and Sammy just proved that she could handle the lead female parts in ALL of the musicals I have been part of! BRAVO SAMMY even if it IS 7 years later!
I sure hope Sammy gets the big break her talents deserves. Heads and shoulders above so many of today’s pop singers. She should be on Broadway winning Tony awards and winning a Grammy or several of them.
There are a lot of versions of this on RU-vid. Sammie is head and shoulders above all the rest. Wish she was still performing. No one puts their heart and soul into it like Sammie.
one of the most talented young ladies I have seen in a long long time----- been watching her performances since the first foxes and fossils videos on you tube------- we might be hearing from her for a very long time !!!! bls kudzu concerts
How fun to see such great development of her music talent! I was stunned by “Suite Judy Blue Eyes”. What I liked was the youthful voices/harmonies along with the wonderfully mature instrumentalists. Thanks you for sharing these vids!
really don't know a lot about this and really most everyone in Hollywood type jobs to include plays are useless. With all that said she really seems good at this. I hope she keeps her faith and doesn't turn into a tool because i'm pretty sure she will be moving up.
It's a pleasure to see Sammie in other settings along with F&F - she is a natural and deserves the very appreciative audience acclaim at the end! There is a wonderful video starring Maggie that seems to be from high school but the video somehow doesn't permit comments - at ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-0AzsX1QYuw0.html
