back with another amv!! evangelion's cover of fly me to the moon is so beautiful and elegant, i thought it'd make a pretty fun amv, and kinda fitting considering how the moon (and other celestial objects) play a large symbolic role in rgu. ofc, the main reason for this amv is that i really wanted to make something focused on utenanthy (and this is a very sweet song for them) since theyre one of my favorite characters in media and thinking about their story and the journey of their relationship always makes me so emotional lmao!!!
revisiting this show while editing and paying more attention to moon imagery has also been a blast; it's something not as noticable on first watch, but the way the moon shows up in nanami or miki episodes, almost like it's haunting their narratives is def very on purpose. this amv was a lot of fun to make, so i hope you'll enjoy watching it!!!!
