Actually, it is not hard at all. I played the guitar, and maybe that is why is not hard for me. I added some pull offs , hammer ons and artificial harmonics to this arrangement, just for fun.

@@daiziemaningding5640 Drums, piano, and some guitar. I guess you could group guitar, bass, and ukulele into a group because they are somewhat similar, but Drums is my main instrument. I am actually finding ukulele to be a really fun one to play.

it would be great if you could make a tutorial that includes both the strumming and the fingerstyle parts. I can do just the fingerstyle but I can't add the strums, it is kinda confusing. Btw great cover, I love it. All your covers that I listened to are awesome.

1st of, Big Thanks for the Tuto, started ukulele and after 1 month of practice, I play it confidently. Whats missing is the strumming pattern that I struggle to catch and it is a major part of the play, gives a complete different dimension to the music

I don’t feel complete with this song at all because you did not teach your strumming that you did but this is still the best tutorial ever you teach very well!!! But I really hope for the strumming patterns it’s very hard to learn and I work a lot of hours so don’t have as much practice time as I wish

Thank you for this video. It would be much more interesting to explain in detail how you switch between strumming and fingerpicking in your original video. I think most people can read tabs but the tab is not showing the strumming part. Maybe you could also write a tab showing this in detail using the tab strumming Features.

Actually the tabs do indicate when to strum and when to pluck, for example if there are circular arcs below line then those chords are meant to be plucked and if there’s a straight vertical line before chord formation, it’s meant to be strummed Atleast that’s what I understood from watching the video

I just wanna share my experience lol. I know the basic of ukulele like what i mean by basic is BABY LEVEL SO YEAH. Plus i havent touch my uku's in like 1 year or so so it was very ashy. But oh well bcos of this corona things and im bored so i study this and did the verse 1 for like 2,5 hours till i can get ahold of it. But just verse one lol mybe ill study the verse 2 later when im in the mood hahaha. Thanks for the vid man!

I have a right handed ukulele that I play with my left hand, so I've found that using my thumb for the a string at the beginning helps

Update: After maybe two total hours of practice, I can play the first bar and a half at full speed without even looking at my ukulele, but "Jupiter" has had me stuck for the last 45 minutes. I'm having a really hard time transposing it to how I play ("upside down" - think Hendrix) for some reason.

This is really THE best tutorial you have made so far! I tried The Lion sleeps tonight and Feliz Navidad so far, but had really trouble sometimes figuring it out. Waterloo sunset in this style would be AMAZING! One of the best songs you presented so far! Keep going! :)

Amazing. Only switched from begin-intermediate level guitar to ukulele two months ago and being able to play this through has represented the first big step!! But that's just being able to play each chord and note. Now to work on the finesse you applied. I imagine that'll take quite a lot longer!! You had a lot of strumming in the original video with the chords but you didn’t show the strumming patterns in the video ? What is the strumming pattern lol, I just think the strumming makes the song sound a lot better but I really can’t seem to figure out the strumming pattern despite slowing down the video 100 times hahhaha

Try following the original video with these: Start of song (quick UD) D DD pluckUPDown pluckpluck G7slide to third fret then back to 2nd fret quickly D Then starting at C7 transitioning to 2nd verse C7(UD) - F(UD) Then Am-G7 Strumming: (Am)DUUD (G7) UUD All in all he did an awesome job with the arrangement and tabs, nothing wrong with figuring out the strumming ourselves. This is a great uke song, well a great song in general, but I've always liked the old standards on the instrument. I suppose this is partly because so many people don't expect it, but also because my main ukulele has a low g which sounds nice with the jazz chords.
