Hello AI, I am flying Ai 186 on the 14th of this month. I hope I have a pleasant experience this time around. My last flight on AI 185 on 18th Jan 2023 was a very very disappointing affair with broken ( yeah... it was physically broken) seat, a very rude Captain Saurabh Pandey and an indifferent crew. I had raised this issue (with video) to AI, but there was no proper response. I really hope this time around, the experience is better. Cheers.
I really like the new livery, the old one was way too… nightclub-esque. And the Premium Economy looks cool, but make a longer version! Edit: I don’t care what people say: the Premium Economy and amenities are not the same at delta’s! Edit 2: I’m watching this video on loop 27 times😊
This is just a video..but when is it actually starting?..because recently travelled usa to Mumbai with air India 777 300er and the plane was very old, screen doesn’t work etc etc.
These are just on the VT-AEX series. The video shows the layouts on VT-AEE,F,G,H,I which are ex delta aircraft being exclusively used on the San Francisco routes from Delhi, Bombay and Bangalore. There are a few ex Etihad and Singapore airline planes but they are sporadically used on routes to London. The other US routes are still using the khatara legacy 777-300ERs with broken equipment
Air India has already wrecked these planes. Flew one of these aircraft VT-AEF from Delhi to San Francisco and the screens were malfunctioning, the toilets were clogged and stains on the plane walls were evident !
My poor nephew had the worst experience coming back from Mumbai to San Francisco. Everything that could have gone wrong did. Cancelled twice. We have now vowed to never fly Air India again. You can advertise all you want it’s all fake anyway. Stop lying to the people and either get rid of the terrible airline or actually start caring about people. We are not cows and goats.
