Great content you guys as always, as a diehard steelhead nut, I absolutely love your guy's salmon content! I would love to see more of this fisherman and these kind of videos in the future. Keep up the awesome work, and congrats on 2 huge salmon! Cheers!
This is awesome video! Great footage, interesting commentary and nice fishing. Btw: I've also seen the advantage of clear line when trolling in lake Vättern and Vänern nearly 15-20 years ago.
Pure magic. You frighten me wading in those rapids. I think a flotation vest would give some peace of mind. Your videos are very inspiring and your techniques masterful. Kindest thoughts from down-under in NZ.
Great video and beautiful river. Love your respect for your sport and fish. I am going to Iceland next summer to salmon fish but now I'm wondering if I shouldn't have come to Norway! Really enjoyed your video!!!!
Yea incredible fishing and fisherman alike! Was surprised that your favorite/only wgt. is 7. I bought a 10 ft 2 pc Douglas and am very happy with it. Comming to your part of the world...again great salmon fishing with honest/humble presentation as well, thanx
great video that was some good fish and some good info as well just small simple flies did the trick they lads do make good fishing videos look forward to more thanks for the up load
First time I'm see this video clip but it's well done and what salmon fishing is about! On my Hardy 10' 8# I use a long belly line because its swing better as there is limited current! And many times I'm bring out the old DT lines in class 7-9 range they work on one hand rods and on short two hand rods. If weather is good I be pleased to use a 7# but often wind blowing so tend to end up whit the 9# very often. Tana river I fish yers back. Most on Gaula and Orkla and definitely most in Surna river. Thanks for nice photos and videos. Bjorn from Sweden 🇸🇪
Hej Antti, You seem to know your way around Norway!! Your Videos are Awesome!! And I share your Respekt for Nature and Fishing!! I‘m totally new to Norway, do you have a Good Tip for me? I’m the Outdoors type of person, would be nice to be able too Camp on the River, and preferably in the Wilderness far away from the noise. Internet is Great, but hard to choose from so many Rivers. Hope you have a Tip for me? Would be Great!! Safe Travels and keep the Videos coming!! Thanks, Andy
Great fishing absolutely stunning))) Is it hard for outsider to get fishing licence and access to rivers? I heard Island is very expensive and waters are private. I was once in Nova Scotia and thinking about New Foundland which is not far from New York. Thank you and wishing you the best!
Fly Reel Question... I have enjoyed watching Antti Guttorm Salmon fishing in several Fly TV videos. I wanted to know what fly reel on the two-handed rod he was using in one of Norway videos. It was an enclosed sided with round center drag wheel and pewter in color. From watching him land some salmon I noticed the reel seemed to be an ant-reverse drag system. I could not make out any the markings on the video. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks and happy holidays.
waxandwane no i think he called it a dark salmon since it was collored from staying in the river for a while. It gets more brown the longer it stays in the river
