fly tying a General Practitioner 

Oh like the GT fly have many salmon on those and sea trout on smaller sizes. In Norway I'm often fish a 3/0# single hook as the river goes brown and the magic is there. The swed 🇸🇪

Nice fly. You should look up wasatch whip finishing tool. Its stout and I use the large to do big flies but it wont compress and make strong and clean whip finishes. Hand made tools from a guy in Oregon.

A great fly! I've caught my first salmon on it 17 years ago. But why you don't put a rib, it makes a fly much more durable?
