Could you add some flat lead underneath the foam to make it sink faster? I'm thinking of making these for ice fishing. Probably put some the length of the shaft, eh?
Try the JB WELD SUPER GLUE. I used loctite, and it worked, but would set up & I had to use pliers to get the cap off. I HAVE NO PROBLEMS WITH JBW SG, BEST I HAVE FOUND, imho.
Jimmie Campbell I use the gorilla glue gel super glue a lot at work and haven’t had a problem with the cap. It has dried on me once but it is over a 100 degrees out here most of the summer. I don’t think think any glue would last in a vehicle out in the desert though.
