A supremely effective dry fly that will work its magic on big, educated trout on all manner of stillwaters.
The Raider can be tied using a variety of colours, choose which suits your venue. For this one, I have used my own blend of dubbing, which I find successful on the larger reservoirs, in particular Rutland, Chew & Draycote.
Fish it on its own for best results!

Love the look Steve, I'll tie some tomorrow and try them out up here in central Scotland. Cheers, stay well, Big Davie.

Love the fly particularly the breathers I use this as well but I cut the breather to give it a flat top (cut at a angle ) it gives the fly a cool look "a fly with a attitude."
