Should i use an tiemco 100/113 or an fulling mill ultimate dry as a hook substitute or either one of them? Can't get my hands on those firehole hooks over here...

I've been tying my foam bugs on jig hooks this year. Love how accessible the hook eye is. I don't have a lot of experience on the water with them yet - but I'm a bit concerned on how well they will float since they are not 'dry fly' hooks. Do have any experience or thoughts on this option?
