Solar Eclipse 4/8/2024 will be directly over KPBG that day. (Plattsburgh International, former USAF SAC base.) Now public/commercial airport.

Yeah, I'm going to spend $3500 for goggles to watch a plane land... I don't think so. Sounds like Foreflight is getting into bed with Apple. Which also explains why they don't cross develop for Android.

That’s not how it came to be that FF is still only on iOS. Androids are a difficult platform. They decided quality was more important than an additional platform.

@@towcub So, The previous creators and Boeing can't do what Garmin does? Despite aviation's love with iOS, There are many more Androids in the world. I know why it came to iOS, all the geeks that created it were raised on Apple products. The smartest thing they could have done was invest in a couple of high-end Android coders and adapt...Like virtually all the game makers.

@@dh-fliesAgreed. I know many pilots that don't use FF for that very reason. I do believe it's the best EFB but, from a business viewpoint, not cross platforming was a terrible business decision. Getting people to think there's an alternative to iOS is like telling some that the wrong President got elected. Might as well talk to a rock.
