This has to be one of the most amazing inventions I’ve ever seen definitely one of the best flying machines by far and your skill level on it is just utterly amazing👍🏼🤩❤️
Yeah, so amazing. Instead of putting all this time, effort and money into finding a cure for cancer or world hunger, let's put it into useless crap like this because 40 year old manbabies think its amazing.
@@BlueEyed888 they are going to start using really compact batteries with solar energy and big wings to catch a lot so hopefully later it will be able to last for a lot longer
Many people can do it. But there are very unreliable and cost much more than cars. It takes about 20 times the fuel taken by a motorcycle to go the same distance. So, not at all efficient.
@@Sinoxqq but the people who invented them didn't get rich. The people made it efficient got rich. Example: electric bulbs were made by many people but they wouldn't work for more than few seconds. Edison made them work for a few hours. That's why he got rich.
@@Sinoxqq And people spent money on aircrafts only when they became the only means of fast transport. And as you can see, these have no use as of now. Maybe in the future when those become faster and more efficient than cars.
This is just a prototype and in order to fly this thing, you need an approval from FAA and whole bunch of bull shit from the US government bla bla bla.
Unfortunately, there is a limit. This device consumes jet fuel like an elephant drinking water. So. You can only fly 5-6 minutes with a backpack jet fuel.
It’s Butter this isn't for.public sell idiot and it wont be due to safety concerns and pricing if u notice he stays above water whole time he can go above land or the perpels will fail to accelerate
One day this will be a lifesaver for those who need first responders. Imagine a Ranger being able to quickly fly over tree tops or get to remote areas to rescue a family or maybe a rock climber who through no fault of his own had a stroke 1500 feet up a rock face. A high rise burning and being able to get to the 50th story immediately to rescue people. Once this can take a 1000 lbs it'll be awesome.
Dave Robertson dude a rescue plan could've saved ppl in 9/11 it just puzzles me they didn't try use any hmmm o wait i know why because it was a inside job
Bandit Quest imagine them using their SpecOps Black Hawk hush engine tech ? A few years ago me and my family saw a group of black hawks and a chinook pass about 400m away and about 250m up but we couldn't hear them. Dude, you can here the average copter coming in from almost a mile away when it's that close to the ground. And now compare that to a military chopper that has even bigger and stronger engine ! Now just imagine that tech on these !? Bruh, terrorists are gonna shit themselves when they look out of their speeding car and see Seal Team 6 flying at 80 mph with micro missile launchers harpoons 😂😂😂
Stephen Stinson I made a sci-fi story where in the future North and Central America, Western Europe and South Africa form the Eurocaan Empire and culture becomes infused with Victorian, Colonial, Dark Age and Futuristic. There are 2 Kings and Queens that rule the Empire and a giant parliamentary government. Law and Order are a big thing in this new Empire but eventually people see that their remaining liberties seem to be getting infringed upon by the ever growing State and Federal Knights (basically the police but wear partial knight armor). As for the military, they are composed of elite warriors that wear knight inspired power armor that has the strength to level small buildings with their fists and the average knight able to tank full 500 Kg bombs. Robotic horses and dragons are employed by advanced units when waging war with other countries while the police use hover bikes. Using advanced tech has allowed the Eurocaan Empire to grow back entire forests and resurrect extinct species wiped out but their barbaric ancestors. With the new tech solely powered by unique electricity and the most powerful fusion reactors, a The Eurocaan Empire is the most advanced civilization on Earth ! While the rest of the world schemes in evil jealousy and malice, the Empire reigns supreme. How did like my future incarnation of western civilization ?
BlackShogun 27 It’s interesting. Why does society move towards a medieval aesthetic? Why dragon and horses instead of jets, drones, etc? Is there lore behind the reasoning?
Stephen Stinson after the Great Burning Apocalypse, the humans of North America and European Nations refused to use nuclear weapons and weapons of immediate mass destruction. The countries that fight against or aligned to the Eurocaan Empire use advanced nuclear power to run their societies and this discusses the descendants of the Empire. With a monarchy in place that holds way more authority than the current one of current day Britain, but still bound to certain rules of the New Magna Carta, The Eternal Bill of Rights, and intercontinental parliamentary body. Drones are still used by the Empire but are designed like large predatory birds. And for small surveillance drones they have are like your everyday bird and actually look realistic unlike the beautiful and mechanical beast mechs. As for society doing a basic 180, I thought from the heavy British the world previously had on the world all those centuries ago, I thought it'd be nice to make an homage to the actual cool clothing the men and women wore. As for the technology they use, it's like ours but with holograms and floating vehicles more frequent.
gentleman maniac if you know what its from, please tell me. I don't like being uncultured swine. (Edit) : I'm thinking it has something to do with the green goblin.
I visited Clift dwellings that tribe had used and some people that lived not far from there didn't know about them. I thought if I visited a historical site people in area would know about it, but not all do.
This prototype has true potential, and with a thorough development programme will become a reliable, well designed, engineered and built personal flight system with an endurance somewhat longer than ten minutes. The Fail Safe engineering that will need to be incorporated into this air vehicle will need to be ultralight, compact and 100% reliable.
If drones have regulations imagine this! Just imagine your neighbor leaving his house in one of this on a sunday morning! One problem this has is that you can hear it from a mile away!!
If you think they have finalised this product you are out of your mind. Wasn't to long ago a pistol shot could be heard every time it was fired, then came the silencer. Have faith and look at the bigger picture dude
Josh Brown Flying While Intoxicated carries a Federal Flying Fine of $25,000 for the first offense. Flying while delivering alcohol in controlled airspace makes customers happy. Stay safe!
coolio diablo the crack wars pretty much burned themselves out about 20-25 years ago. Detroit is not nearly as bad as its reputation these days. Although there is still a great deal of poverty here, the less well off among us are not criminals.
Bruce Lee not only that, but if he sets it up and takes the correct precautions, risks are minimized. Keep shooting black kids unarmed on the street bro
19th century people would of never imagined this would be the future of Human transit. Son: Dad I want a hovercraft Father: okay son. But for now take the jet pack to school
Not fuel efficient enough to be what people would want from a flying car, and also incredibly loud, but the technology will certainly create some impressive compact aerial vehicles. Just expect stuff more in line with sports, recreation, and maybe special utility, rather than anything remotely viable as a commuter.
The Wright brothers flew for 59 seconds (852feet) only 60 years later the SR71 flew beyond Mach 3.2, this becoming a modern transport is a possibility...
@Jonathan Wheatley True, but that doesn't really change what I said. The fuel efficiency issue isn't going to change even near sufficiently regardless of advancements in the turbines. A modern car rated for decent fuel efficiency reaches around 42-74 miles to the gallon. Even a worst case example, driving a literal armoured car, still gets around 12mpg. To compare, the Sikorsky S-76C++ twin turbine helicopter, a modern light weight and highly fuel efficient example, gets only about 1.65 mpg. That's nearly *30 times* more expensive to run than a common car over the same distance. The advanced micro turbines used in the Flyboard are LESS efficient than a regular helicopter, and require a more expensive specific fuel. Sure, the engineering can be improved on, and sure new fuels or refining processes might be developed, but the raw physics and energy requirements are always going to remain constant. A flying vehicle requires DRAMATICALLY more energy to remain aloft. Personal flying transports like this have existed and been entirely possible ever since WW2, but they have never entered common use for these very simple reasons. The Flyboard has made huge leaps in performance, but nothing in terms of the specific obstacles a "flying car" faces. We could easily build one right now using this tech, and it would probably perform brilliantly, but no one would actually want to use it.
Glider can fly without any fuel. The main thing is how to use wings and how to use fuel ! Quick take off and hover on the wings - the secret of success. For example newatlas.com/gasoline-powered-uav-single-flight-five-days/49944/
