Flyff is a tab targeting anime mmorpg released in 2005. 1 of the main features of flyff is the flying system where in you can Go to the sky and travel much more faster than just regular running. fly for fun starts out very slow and your gonna be running back and forth frequently at the early parts of the game but when you get your flying mount that's where traversing the open world will be much more easier and now that where talking about open world, Flyff is 1 of the earliest mmorpg that you can say that its open world because you can go from island to island in Flyff without any loading. Flyff is developed by Gala Lab a Korean company that worked different mmorpgs such as Flyff legacy and Rappelz. Flyff is at its peak popularity in October 2008 which is the time where Flyff received 1 of its major update since release.

One of the first MMORPGs to have a flying feature was FLYFF.
It features a fantastic mode of transportation that enables you to view Madrigal from a great height.
Go up in the air to take in the breathtaking views of the landscape, engage in air combat with dangerous monsters, and participate in the Rainbow Race every week.
According to your character development, you can choose from a variety of jobs and apply particular skills for each.
Starting with the Wanderer job, you can switch between 16 different classes and a total of 4 jobs.
Choose your class wisely and defend Madrigal's territory from the threat of monsters.
The party feature sets the game apart from others.
It has an advanced party development system, so when the character levels up, the party (or troupe) also increases and you can employ talents that are only available to the party (or troupe).

Flyff gives me good memories from back in 2006. I used to play with my dad as a kid, we would be in the same room with 2 different laptops. Thank u for making this video and reminding me of it. I enjoyed it

idk if i would play again but this game always held great memories for me. back when i was a kid, this game got me into the MMORPG scene, and just pc gaming in general. me and my friends would do a 3 way phone calls with these old plug-in headsets for land lines back in the day. we grinded the game HEAVY. spent no money on the store and still made it to pretty high levels considering it was our first MMORPG. nowadays, i play ff14 but this game still pops into my head when i think about MMORPGs. this will forever be one of my OGs. good to see that people are still playing it and that it didnt die completely. just hearing the sound of the Aibatt brings back so much nostalgia.

nice memories, i remember playing on 3 accounts, one would aggro 20-30 mammouths in azria, the 2nd character that needs to level up would follow my first one, and then i would have a level 1 character following too, because it gave more exp having a level 1 character with you in the group hahaha

This game is very nostalgic to me, especially the login theme. Unfortunately for people like me who like playing healers will have a rough time leveling up, which was a common issue in old school MMORPGs.

lmao i had a ringmaster (the healer class) and they can solo leveling with aoe they dont need someone for lvl up, i quit the game cuz i get bored of grinding

i love hearing old timers saying how this brings back nostalgia...considering the game is going on 20 years old and people still haven't forgotten it. so many games i've played back then died out. ROSE is another one i played back then that looks like it's still around. I sometimes think about playing again...not sure if my old accounts are still there. I remember that grind to level 60 though and think I better not now.

Flyff universe does start off slow with low damage,no gear and Low penya. You can get “pro gear” within time or pay your way to the top quickly. The money doesn’t start flowing in until 96+ af galph mobs. I would do every quest that gives exp and all red quest lines at appropriate times.

Love the Game back in the Day. Played it like Crazy. 🥰 I just hated when that dump company gPotato were put in charge of the US severs. 😑 The game when downhill from there... Server lag, rollbacks, Account locking, Items stats randomly being change. 🤬 The biggest thing that kill it all was when they stop you from accessing all three of you Banks from one character. This was their way of trying to get everyone to start paying to play. Everyone was Mad. 😠

i've played flyff universe for a few weeks the past year and, as someone who remembers the game from back then but barely played it, it was pretty fun and i'd totally recommend it to annyone who wants to scratch the itch of old mmo vibes, with good music and people leveling everywhere. That being said, the game had some flaws that made me quit after a while, one of them being the AoE classes (archer, cleric and i think some warrior class) having the BEST leveling experience by far compared to any single target class, which i was playing at the time, and it makes the game kinda lame because you have to either play double the amount of time to level up (taking 1-2 hours of mind numbing farming for each level in the early-mid stages of the game) or make a second character to level up your main single-target character and that's no fun. Game was fun though so its all that matters.

flyff is indeed paytowin but its more like grind to win tbh much like bdo it is indeed p2w but you need absurd amount of money to win anything grinding it is just much faster if you have limited funds.

It's so crowded in the game. I would do every quest and join a party to level up faster, I used both the arrow and the map to navigate to make the game much easier to play
