A class 456 rod is good for pike and perch? I use it only for chub and trout but i want to try for bigger fish... Idk if my rod can do it..

You can catch pretty much anything with light gear, you just have to be more careful.

It looks like you had some good sport 👍 I’ve never fly fished for pike but have used jig fly and it gets some grate takes. Have you ever tried a rattle on your flies? I find it helps loads

The Diving Fisherman I found that with a rattle it can produce a more aggressive take. Give it a whirl

Black Country Piker is that what you find in canals? Pretty much all my canal piking is done with the fly rod and I’ve never thought to use rattles. My canal is usually pretty clear so not sure if that makes a difference. Cheers
