1:15 That's me😅😅. I've had guests just check in who saw me on this video. Thank you guys so much for the awareness you've brought here. It's truly humbling. I wish you all the best🙏🏾🙏🏾
Good day to you Bambi,my name is Andrew and live in the uk,city of York .I came across you’re videos and love them.I visited Zambia a few years ago for 3 month, and loved Victoria falls.I stayed at many small villages in Zambia.Choma was one of the villages.love the video.thank you so much for the memories.xx
Wow! Your videos keep getting better and more interesting and I look forward to each new one. Always wanted to visit Africa; your travels are likely the closest I will ever get, so thank you!
If you're a local (like I am) we absolutely hate the PERPETUAL helicopter flights. I know it's fun & all but geez, there's a flight over the falls every minute & the noise gets EXHAUSTING. We have a petition to limit the flights or at least have some off days...
There is just NO WAY you would get me into that Devils Pool! Mind you, back in about 78/9 I did get to walk down the Eastern Cataract on the Zim side when it was totally dry. Rocks were like glass and slippery! Madness!
Had a challenging conversation with 2 ladies who what the short flight in a single engine helicopter because they thought it was safer to do a shorter flight. I managed to convince them it was safer to go in a twin engine helicopter for double the time so 5 or 6 of us could all travel together. Well worth the longer flight
At 5:23...reckless. I'm a 31 year veteran helicopter bush pilot and I get very frustrated watching people overestimate their abilities on these videos. And when it eventually does go fatal over the glassy water; they will have the GoPro footage for the families to use against them. Not impressed.
On a trip to the area a number of years ago we enjoyed the same spectacular helicopter tour of the falls which was definitely a bucket list accomplishment. We also visited Zambia, Zimbabwe, Botswana and South Africa. I would highly recommend this adventure. Thanks for your hard work and perseverance with your videos. Always a joy to watch. Cheers from Canada.
Putting camers behind and below the copter was a great idea, those shots were incredible. Are those goPros orrr... i'd be afraid they'd fall off easily with all the downwash and slipstream
Hey Rosita, thank you for the great content you were shareing this year. What an amazing work. You are one of the most amazing content-creators on yt, not because of the flying and the great views out of the cockpit you are shareing with us but because of your sincere and honest joy. Seeing you chasing your dreams is purely amazing. Keep up the great work in 2022. Merry x-mas to you and your loved ones.
I understand the Zambian side is flooded with South Africans like the helicopter pilot and South African hotel chains and businesses that saw an opportunity to market the Victoria Falls from the zambian side in the mid 2000s when Zimbabwe was going through economic melt down. Kudos to them. Wondering why Zambians themselves didn't see this opportunity.
Happy Holidays! You wouldn't have found me anywhere near those falls. I grew up 60 miles from Niagara Falls on the US Canada border and heard far too many stories of people being swept over the falls or close to it due to falling in, helicopter crashes, boats with failed motors or jumping. Then again Niagara Falls has 100x as much water flowing over it as Victoria Falls and current to match! You are a better woman than I Gunga Dot! Keep up the great videos and above all STAY SAFE! 🚁❤️😷
Wow what a trip I was lucky enough to visit Zombabwe in 1990 and we walked along the Victoria Falls on the Zim side. It was epic and your post bought back happy memories. We also had a sunset crusie above the falls. Thanks so much for posting from Devon in the UK, I love your infectious posts!
I bambi hope both of you are well. What a awesome vlog I thought the helicopter blades were going to touch on the low flying.on the water fall any closer and you would of gone down the water fall. Philip would like to wish you a happy Christmas and new year only two sleeps left philip. 🎅🇬🇧👍🇿🇦
Thank you PB that was amazing. I’m 70 and spent half a century wanting to be in a helicopter. Then it happened , I was in an accident and taken by Air Ambulance to a large hospital and the doctor spoilt it by giving me anaesthesia 🙄. Mentour pilot interviewed you and your enthusiasm and knowledge shone through . So another subscriber!
Hey Bambi Amazing helicopter 🚁 ride Amazing content , amazing food and Amazing love birds … I am addicted to your tube channel Once more thanks 🙏 for visiting my country Zimbabwe 🇿🇼 Love from Canada 🇨🇦
Wow what an amazing trip and day you guys had 😁 And what a helicopter ride!!! So glad you two had an awesome time.Looking forward to your coming content. And i would like to wish you both and family,a wonderful and safe Christmas 🥳 And prosperous new 2022 🍻
Did Maurice not have shoulder straps in the helicopter? I read an accident report last week, which said that the main reason the pilot suffered fatal injuries (in a cessna) was because of the secondary impact (the pilot hitting the control panel). The accident report noted that he was not wearing his shoulder straps, and that if he had been wearing them, he would probably still be alive... Just a word of warning!!
Hi Rosita, a very great video and another art to celebrate Christmas in a warm land with an amazing landscape. Merry Christmas and a happy new year. Be health and safe. Warm regards, Alex..
Pilot Bambi - only one word describes this video - “breathtaking”. Amazing video content- thanks for sharing! P.S. Sometimes it’s better not to know what you will be doing - in this case it just adds to the excitement of your adventure. Merry Christmas and Happy New Year!
Fantastic, you were really getting close to the edge. I can’t believe how low that water is compared to when I was there… looking forward to seeing your next flight to Malawi…
Thank you!! Gosh, that swim in devils pools was hectic, but so breathtaking. I really hope to visit the falls again after the rainy season. Malawi vlog is almost done and will be online after christmas. happy holidays!
Hi Bambi, I think you asked the heli pilot for a special *pilot Bambi* tour. Because most of normal tourists would get so much adrenalin that they can see that adrenaline's color is brown. (in their pants). Have a nice time there and een gelukkig kerstfeest en een gelukkig nieuwe jaar!!! Tot het volgende video. 🎄🎅🥂🍾😇
Excellent! You both have a talent for this. Plus lots of cash for the aeroplane? A pilot and builder of an aerobatic a/c. myself. I like your professional and FUN attitude. Being cute, helps of course. Would love to see more stuff from you. CAVU skies!
It's such a pity you couldn't get a flight plan for Zambia, one of the most beautiful countries on the African Continent. Zimbabwe is my country of birth and as a kid, we spent years in Zambia as well. I hope to return someday. Enjoy every moment and take care.....super enjoying your videos!
Flying at that low altitude over the water, and at 50KIAS? it looks like you *have* to stay below 25 AGL to be in safe limits according the height-velocity curve
I enjoy your content super interesting and you seem like a professional and safe pilot (speaking as a non-pilot). One little thing from this video - at around 2:00 - if you don't keep your mask over your nose there really is no point wearing one. Keep up the great content though!
You are totally right! I could feel it slipping down a bit, but didn't realise it was that low on my nose already. Need to be more careful though. Luckily I had just done a covid test and it came back negative :) . Glad you enjoyed the video!
